Well its most of the time to save their own time, why should u keep clicking in a already lost match?^^

Instead of investing 1-2mins they leave, but there are many many others who just wanna deny u a coin.

They should add surrender to pvp battles then.

Thing is:

 

Pick a friend, go in queue at same time, insta-surrender, insta-surrender etc etc to gain coins for free.

So its abusable and staff cant be around 24/7 to chech this.

I guess those who hardtry 10 hours per day to get their mounts take that very seriously.

 

And there is two types of quitters. Those who leave in the beginning/middle of a fight because they don't want to waste hours in one battle (for example, in an annoying battle with full of stalls) and those who ragequit when they are down to their last pokemon since they're so petty and want to deny you a coin.

 

Personally, i can comprehend the former but the latter should be punished.

They could just allow x # of surrenders per day to prevent it becoming abusable.

I think you get the loss if you quit..

But the winner doesnt get the PVP coins. I think thats the most important about it.

Yes, that's the point. The problem is when people has only one Pokemon left and it's clearly about to lose. This people prefer to logout and take away the coin from you instead of waiting 30 second and finish the match.
