Check out the guilds section. You can either make a post in the Looking for a Guild subforum or just apply to some guilds that you like the look of.

Interesting question, for my point:

1/ chat in all chat

2/ help people who around in game

3/ read game guide, and then back to point 2

4/ join help chat

5/ discussion in forum

6/ Finding some guild for joining

 

These things will help you make friends and enjoy the game

Red. I am not on like every day because of work and other games take up time but I try and get one couple times a week.
