I have a pickaxe, it doesnt work. I have it in my bag, ive tried it on my hotbar etc etc - i still cant rocksmash unless i bring a rocksmash poke with me... so whats the point of a 70c pickaxe?

I believe it's only for dig spots. May be wrong, never used one.

its for rock smashing. I have a it and all i have to do to rock smash is press spacebar on a rock. an yea its not for dig spots.

i always have to bring a rock smash poke with me, or it will just keep asking me to select a poke with rocksmash, regardless of the pickaxe

Put the pickaxe in your hotbar and when you go to a smashable rock, try clicking on the hotbar number.

Literally tried everything, it just says "This items not used like that" or something - And no, im not mistakenly trying the axe, i have both, the axe works however. just not the pickaxe (Or it doesnt work on the rocks in love island)

I thought it was for the shiny stones in the excavation sites (Hoenn)?

The pickaxe should use itself, same as using rock smash, just click a breakable rock with it in your bag.

The rocks on Love island are pokemon rock smash only, no pickaxe
