How does mega stone for Aerodactyl work?

Hello, I know one of the mega stone acquirable in this game is for Aerodactyl. How does it work. Do I get a stat boost or something by attaching the stone to Aerodactyl

The mega stone mega-evolves the pokemon. Which is not implemented yet. However I don't recall any stat boost of any kind being applied to the pokemon. Or the pokemon being impacted in any way.

The Mega Stone for Aerodactyl is no longer available. In fact, all Mega Stones were recently removed from player's inventories (Those who had them at least)

I expect that they'll return when they are coded correctly.

As said, it typically evolves Aerodactyl into Mega form during battle. This is not programmed yet so the stone is useless.

Was a little too late to answer. xD

However, I do want to add before asked that there is currently no ETA of when mega stones will be (re-)available in game (they probably work on higher priority stuff ^^)
