Adham
We all know that Raticate is useless in PvP. But let's say that Raticate's power is unrevealed yet; so... what is Raticate's power ? There is some facts about Raticate that some of us did not know: 1) Raticate is one of few Pokemons that learn Super fang via level up. 2) Ability: Guts works when the user is sleeping. 2) Raticate have a unique or high speed. I tried to discover Raticate's Power by making some movesets that might makes Raticate powerful in PvP, In the end i made two movesets, Here they are: Ability: Guts. Nature: Jolly. (To insures that Raticate will attack first) Item: Razor Fang or King's Rock (To rise the chance of flinching the target) EV: 252 att, 6 hp, 252 spd. Moves: 1) Attract . 2) Substitute / Super Fang / Bite. 3) Rest . 4) Snore . Ability: Hustle. Nature: Jolly. (To insures that Raticate will attack first) Item: Leftovers (with Move: Substitute) or Muscle Band or Silk Scarf EV: 252 att, 6 hp, 252 spd. Moves: 1) Attract . 2) Substitute / Toxic . 3) Super Fang . 4) Reversal / Dig . Tell my your opinions, notes, and ideas. Vastik
You can use Guts+Toxic Orb too, Jolly aswell with Sucker Punch, Facade, Swords Dance, U-Turn/SuperFang and another interesting moves. Raticate got good speed base yes, but other stats are low, test it can be interesting anyway :Shy: Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/49973-an-idea-about-raticates-power/#findComment-304694 Share on other sites
Adham
We all know that Guts work on burn and poison, but when i discovered that it can work on sleeping Pokemon too, i tried to make a new moveset that can be used for a sleeping Raticate, So Raticate does not have to take damage from poison or burn.
