Why online population drops?

Started this thread, to gather some theories/infos why number of players online drops as time goes by, from the community. And brainstorm for ways to counter it or perhaps recover the loss.

So heres mine,

According to my observation, population dropped as Coin/MS prices in market rose. Back when it was around 200k theres an overwhelming number of players but slowly drops as Coin price rise. Not mentioning some events are active before the drastic increase.

I really dont know why people dies if theres no Coins/MS in there inventory. Tbh, i really dont care of Coin price increase, but if its one of the cause of the loss of peers, then im afraid i should go with people who demands the price control.

So whats yours?

Please keep in mind what the topic is all about.

I believe why players significantly dropped is due to the mass banning of bots earlier on. It really decreased the online sizes, and practically got rid of the queues so far. People come and go, school, uni. And other activities. But events/holidays do bring more players. Going with the MS, and coins topic. Prices will fluctuate again, hopefully they'll go back down to normal sometime...

Also I agree with James, blue is suffering currently.

A lot of people that I know that moved from blue to yellow is because they wanted to escape the bots inflating the price, I heard its pretty bad there. You see how fast the ms price rises in yellow and blue comparing to red. That rate is so much faster, it took red so much longer for the price of ms to be this high even though red server is ahead in months for blue and a year for yellow? And yet I think ms prices are the same across all 3 severs now. I know that at yellow ms are 700-1m, lucky if you could find one for 700k. The bots problem is pretty obvious now and everyone, if not, most people know about it. They might feel it's unfair which discouraging them from playing.

Well tbh it was red players who entered blue while it was still new and manipulated the prices of coins or inshort taking advantage of the innocence of beginners. And so red ms sellers were jelly of it and end up doin the rise too and the scarcity begins. That was according to my intel

This is basically what happened to yellow, as well. I've noticed players from other servers like to come in on their alts and try to take advantage of the less experienced ones.

I don't believe there is such a thing as a "normal" price for any specific item. People have been complaining about the MS price hike phenomena as if all the ice on planet earth melted. That is what happens when your servers are filled with 50% bots, and 50% actual players... when you get rid of half of the customers prices go up. At first I didn't understand how banning bots could cause the price to go up since the demand essentially decreased. Which would assume the price would follow. However the opposite happened, and the price went up due to the lack of availability of said items. I miscalculated the amount of whales PRO has.

Now to address the population decline. Lets consider that perhaps there was no actual population to begin with, and that half the player base was in fact, bots. Does anyone recall the trade chat immediately following the bot purge? It was completely dead... So on top of the fact that school started a couple months ago, both high school and college students.. and the fact that apparently over 3 THOUSAND bots were banned in one fell swoop.. 1+1=2. I'm inclined to believe that there was no real player base to begin with. In actuality the player base majority was bots. Thus the economy was also bot driven.

Of course this is just a theory, and I don't mean anything by it. But its interesting to think about all things considered.

I wish there was some way to keep those server immigrants out of Yellow server! Make Yellow server great again. Those bots and server immigrants take our jobs/trades and raise the cost of living on natural born yellow server users. Some I assume are good, but most are bad people, bots, and criminals. I officially start the *MYGA* party!!! (make yellow great again) Lets rid our beautiful sever of these bottom of the barrel players!!
