2 cents of my opinion if it helps.

 

we somehow just hate geodude/ rat / bat (they do get much hate ingame)

 

what if there is a way to have them look good (sprite) for the xmas event and to put more importance to them (unlike the usual hate they get) have the xmas bat/rat/dude be 0.1% instead of the 5% chance since they are pretty common. Atleast this way its hard to get them in the xmas sprite and some people will put time and effort to catch them. The harder the better.

 

Just an opinion and i hope it helps

 

edit sorry i didnt know that xmas pokes are not 5% but 1/1000 but anyways u get the idea ^^
