One month "seasons"

After playing Kanto and Johto (and half hoenn) with UNDERLEVELED pokemons, I wish I could redo Kanto and Johto, with my old Pokemon locked. Here is my idea: you get a option, every month to keep playing or restart a region.

 

Personally, I would restart Hoenn, because I can't get past Mt. Pyre with the levels I have ( and the Pokemon). The last time I played PRO was about 2 months ago. Players that restarted would get a reward (restarting from the same region to the same region, ex. you beat the first gym in Kanto wouldn't get anything, but restarting from Mossdeep to Pallet town would get 2 coins). Your Pokedex wouldnt be erased.

 

It would need some tweaking, obviously, but I think it'd be a good suggestion

But why do you need to start over? Why don't you just train the Pokemon you have or catch new Pokemon and train those? Nothing is stopping you from going back to the beginning and beating everything (except the gymleaders) again. All Trainers reset.

 

Also if your Pokemon are underlevelled you most likely evolve too early. =)

A fun idea but it would probably break a lot of the game's variables for any player who reset their region. Just training your Pokemon to a higher level is a better option than completely restarting a region. Also, if you really want to restart the game you can play on a different server or create a new account :)

316640 restarting from Mossdeep to Pallet town would get 2 coins

Since coins are exclusively a reward for donating and donations are the only thing that keeps the servers up, it's improbable that they'll ever be obtainable through gameplay.
