The player introduction and the off-topic sections are great places to talk and meet friends. Also you might wanna look at the PvP section to get some starting tips. Hope you will bd able to find nice friends who will be your in game companions forever. Developing interest in pvp is really nice as its really challenging and it also helps to test and improve your knowledge about pokemons their strength and weakness their varieties of moves and items.
