Unfortunately a loss of connection in a battle will put that boss on cooldown, all you can then do is wait until your'e able to battle them again

I have disconnected like that before. I have accidently pressed the Airplane Mode button on my keyboard, but I press it again immediately and am able to reconnect to the battle.
