I'm looking to build a tanky troll team that I can stop offensive teams, rapid spin, and control the game pace. Something with like 3-5 tanky pokes including some pokes that can stall break. I love using Gliscor despite it not being a god PVP poke. At the start of this season I was messing around with the following team:

 

Togekiss, Timid (My only poke who's purely offensive)

Gliscor, Impish

Tangrowth, Relaxed

Snorlax, Impish/Adamant

Gothitelle (Shadow tagger)

Starmie (Spinner)

 

I didn't love this team, It did OK on ladder. Climbed a bit then flat-lined. It would completely own some teams, then get completely owned by others. And be a good fight vs the rest. But what type of tanky trolly team do you guys prefer? (Note, must include Gliscor :-), I have an Impish but i'd like to get a good Careful one someday, so either one works)

basically spikestacking but Magic Guard kinda really ruins its day... maybe CM Psyshock Blissey specifically to deal with clef? That's more or less going to a ridiculous extent though. Tenta/Gliscor/Skarmory are a pretty phenomenal defensive core, Glisc can sorta break with Taunt, Skarm can whirl, and Tenta can spin. Clef sponges basically everything and is a solid wincon against balance/semistall/stall, jelli to spinblock, cele so that Breloom doesn't just shred you.

Taunt Gliscor is an interesting one. I would probably try having a defensive nature (Impish or Careful) and EV training SPD just enough so that i'm outspeeding base 80/81 poke. But you would like Jolly right? It looks like that Gliscor is relying on Toxic to kill things. How would Iron head work out on Skarmory? What is it trying to kill? Or is it just solely for the purpose of surprising countering Taunts? I dont' have any experience with Celebi or Jellicent, i'll have to think about this more.

the revised version of that team has 3 members dedicated to stopping clefable / snorlax / last mon setup lol

I'm running, Togekiss, Gliscor, Tangrowth, Starmie, Snorlax, Tyranitar. It's winning a lot but I feel like i'm not playing any good competition right now. I think all the good players quit until the next season starts :Shy:
