This is a good alternative way but only for those who does not do pvp or does not use sashes on pvp. Those sashes are not worth to use for bosses in their behalf. Otherwise if 1-2 only i guess or if there's an assurance that a certain boss will give a focus sash in return.

Donphan is not weak enough to let itself becomes 1HP, so can't work with using 6 Donphans.
