As Prehax and SiTzei have both said, Daeon's guide to money making and SiTzei's hunt guide are both great guides for learning to make money. Also make sure to check your Pokestops, Dig spots, and Headbutt trees often to for a chance to obtain items and Pokemon to sell in addition to the money you can get from defeating wild pokemon. Also you can use trade chat and the trade sub-forums to help you sell Pokemon and items!
