Daeon made a pretty good guide on how to make money in PRO -> Daeon's Guide to Money Making.

It is worth a check :p

 

The easiest way is of course just to defeat wild pokemon and repeat that over and over again.

As Prehax and SiTzei have both said, Daeon's guide to money making and SiTzei's hunt guide are both great guides for learning to make money. Also make sure to check your Pokestops, Dig spots, and Headbutt trees often to for a chance to obtain items and Pokemon to sell in addition to the money you can get from defeating wild pokemon. Also you can use trade chat and the trade sub-forums to help you sell Pokemon and items! That being said I will now lock the thread, and I wish you good luck in your money making venture! :)
