Hello everyone, I recently came across some nice commands in PRO that make chatting even more comfortable (source: PRO Wiki) and this is just an addition to this perfect guide made by Seibuza.

Feel free to ask anything or suggest things.:)


[glow=red]You are allowed to create and partake in custom channels that fall out of the purview of the official channels' rules and regulations.[/glow]


Command List

 

Channel Creation and Owner-Level Commands

  • [goto=1]cgcreate[/goto] ~ Channel creation ~ creating a channel with a password
  • [goto=2]cgmod[/goto] ~ Channel mod ~ give someone mod permissions
  • [goto=3]cgname[/goto] ~ Channel name ~ changing the channel name
  • [goto=4]cgpassword[/goto] ~ Channel password ~ changing the channel password
  • [goto=5]cgdisband[/goto] ~ Channel disband ~ disbanding the channel

 

Moderator-Level Commands

  • [goto=6]cgkick[/goto] ~ Channel kick ~ kicking somene out of the channel
  • [goto=7]cgmotd[/goto] ~ Channel motd ~ setting a message of the day
  • [goto=8]cginvite[/goto] ~ Channel invite ~ inviting people to the channel

 

Channel-User Commands

  • [goto=9]cgjoin[/goto] ~ Channel join ~ joining the channel
  • [goto=10]cgleave[/goto] ~ Channel leave ~ leaving the channel

 


 

[anchor=1]Channel creation[/anchor]

/cgcreate channel name, password

 

Creates a private channel. The password argument is optional; using it would password-protect the channel, thereby requiring entrants to input the correct password to join.

 

Example:

/cgcreate HowToChannel, test

[anchor=2]Channel mod[/anchor]

/cgmod channel name, username

 

Promotes another as a channel-level moderator

 

Example:

/cgmod HowToChannel, Prehax | /cgmod HowToChannel, Paperwings

[anchor=3]Channel name[/anchor]

/cgname channel name, new name

 

Changes the channel name.

 

Example:

/cgname HowToChannel, HowChannelTo

[anchor=4]Channel password[/anchor]

/cgpassword channel name, new password, password confirmation

 

Changes the channel password.

 

Example:

/cgpassword HowToChannel, test1, test

[anchor=5]Channel disband[/anchor] (currently not working)

/cgdisband channel name

 

Deregisters the channel.

 

Example:

/cgdisband HowToChannel

[anchor=6]Channel kick[/anchor]

/cgkick channel name, username

 

Channel-kicks the user.

 

Example:

/cgkick HowToChannel, Paperwings

[anchor=7]Channel motd[/anchor] (currently not working)

/cgmotd channel name, motd

 

Writes the new MOTD (message of the day), which is viewable to all channel-users.

 

Example:

/cgmotd HowToChannel, HELLO

[anchor=8]Channel invite[/anchor]

/cginvite channel name, invitee's username

 

Invites the user to the channel. Do note that the channel must not be password-restricted.

 

Example:

/cginvite HowToChannel, Paperwings

[anchor=9]Channel join[/anchor]

/cgjoin channel name, password

 

Joins the channel. If it is password-protected, the correct password must be inputted in the command in order to join.

/cgleave channel name

 

Leaves the channel.

 

Example:

/cgleave HowToChannel

An acronym for "random number generator" or "random number generation", it refers to the process by which computers generate apparently random numbers, essentially the computer equivalent of 'chance'.
