Hello everyone!

Just wanted to introduce myself, and ask a few questions, as I still haven't gotten the first badge. XD

My name is Panda! Soo hii!

I have 2 questions, lol.

1. Easiest way to beat Brock with Charmander? He already knows Seismic Toss...

2. If I evolve my Charmander into a Charizard, can I ride the Charizard as a mount?

Alternatively, if I find like an Eevee and evolve it, can I ride that as a mount?

//Just super curious on how mounts work, and if they're available to get outside of the shop//

((If this isn't in the right section, feel free to scold me, lmao))

Thank you!

Welcome to PRO! :)

1. catch a Poliwag at night on Route 22 to beat Brock since Charmander is a pretty weak pokemon against him (also a little advice, do not early evolve them; it will take longer to train them since they need XP based on their base XP which is higher when you evolve them)

2. no, you have to buy the mount from the coinshop for 50coins (2,5$) or trade it with other users for items/pokemon/ingame money

-same goes for Eevee

You can get a free Arcanine mount later in the game (a quest in Fuchia)

  • random number generation

An acronym for "random number generator" or "random number generation", it refers to the process by which computers generate apparently random numbers, essentially the computer equivalent of 'chance'.

Thank you for the welcome and the advice!

How do I catch the poliwag on route 22, when I'm not able to get past Pewter City? Unless you're referring to route 2? Also, darn. My Charmander evolved last night. Well, I'll make sure I don't let him evolve again. T.T

What do you mean by (2,5$)? 2 or 5? //confused//

Thanks, again! This will be very useful, if I can wrap my head around it. :3

go back to Virdian and instead of going up to the Viridan Forest, go left to Route 22

there is a good prowiki article about that (regarding mounts and donations)

Oh! I totally forgot about that way.

Thanks for the link, and for all of this help. You can tell I'm a noob. ((Though, shouldn't be, as I've beaten Fire Red god knows how many times. xD))
