Hello, I am on a MAC and when I download the latest ZIP from the downloads section, I cannot unzip it properly. It says that the data is corrupted. note that this is a new download that i haven't touched. I am running a Mac mini on mac version 10.12.5. and i meet all the other requirements to run the game. It is only with this latest version this is happening.

try using 7-zip which is a free software to unzip

Have you tried re-downloading the file?

Also on a note, my laptop too says that file is currp. when i try to extract but it runs after extraction. Or try with some other zip extractor.

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this inconvenience. When downloading and unzipping the file, did you follow all of the steps on the PRO for Macs guide?

I tried to follow the steps for mac, but I can't check the box "anything" in the Security and privacy tab in system preferences to allow anything to open. This is because the latest mac update removed it. however, I know it is possible to allow apps from unidentified developers because there is a check box for that and anything from the app store.

Another thing I want to mention is that the icon image isn't present. it is just the mac .app icon image (the triangle made of a pen, a paintbrush, and a pencil.)

I have tried redownloading the file several times, I also restarted my mac once.

For some reason 7zip won't install. I'll click on the unboxing image in the .dmg file, and it does nothing.

 

Once I open the pokemon revolution online app that has no image, it does nothing as well.

You can follow the steps on this Stackexchange question to allow outside downloads on Macs. Also are you unzipping with Archive Utility? If not, I recommend giving it a try.

I was using the Unarchiver, not archive utility, thank you for the support, Archive Utility worked no problem.
