The move whirlpool is supposed to trap the enemy pokemon but in battle they are able to switch out during the whirlpool.

 

I also tested the ability hydration. During rain status problems are not healed.

 

Neither of these are on the list of bugged / not coded moves / abilities on the pvp rules section.

should work for sleep and paralysis as well though so i guess it's only partly coded
