I've never been a fan of those shallow animes like HxH, Death Note and FMA.

I'm more of a fan of Cory In The House and SAO, especially the 2nd ark and onward.

I was once suggested Tokyo Ghoul, but it just lacked any sensible story, so I just watched Eiken instead, which has all the best qualities of a true anime.

 

P.S. Luffy could totally beat up Goku and comparing two characters from different series is completely viable.
