i am curious can you use images from pokemon anime series and modify them in order to make a emote?

this is from a battle from the anime can i use the image, cut out what is not oshawott and draw the missing part of the head?

 

the main draw is not from me but i modify it to suit an emote, so is both mine and not mine

Thanks for taking an interest in the contest! It is fine to use images in from the pokemon anime series, but we ask that you would modify them in order to make them your own. An example of what we're looking for is something like this:

 

 

While it is just a slowpoke, the creator of this image took it and made it his own by editing a different face on it and adding some text.

 

Where as this one, which would not be accepted:

 

 

is just a normal Slowpoke, and there is nothing really special about it.

 

I hope this helps clear up what type of emoji we are looking for. :Grin:
