Membership XP Boost is too much

hey,

i just started the game and got the membership, but i feel like my pokemons are getting out of control while playing the story as they just get too MUCH exp. I fought with my lvl 60 (!) pikachu against gary at the silph co and got 6 (!) levels in just 1 fight as example, thats not how it should be in my opinion.

 

so im asking if you could remove the +50% XP boost for the ms i bought on my account, that would be great. i know this sounds kinda strange but i rly would enjoy the game more that way.

maybe you should try switching between your poke, to reduce exp gained. you will get much lower exp if you do that

Wait, I think you didnt got it all right so imma try to clear it for you .

 

1/ Membership are very good as they are and arent supposed to be used for the story, at first.

 

2/ People start to massivly use this items once the story is over, in order to train the most pokemon possible untill their membership run off.

 

3/ Membership are expensive and trust me, without it training a pokemon to lv 100 would be to annoyin and people could quit from doing it.

So Instead to ask to remove it from your account you better hurry to use of this time to train your pokemon to lv 100 because believe me the day it will run off, and you'll have to train your pokemon to lv 100 you'll question yourself why you didnt followed my advice before.

 

4/ The admin wont remove this at all, as the rules here are strict and unless if there's a bug in your game or anything that prevent you to play, they're not allowed to give you an advantage by adding / removing anything frm your account .

For the little story, when I start'd the game, I asked for my Yellow save to be removed after only 2hours of play, cuz i wantd to play on red server only , not the yellow one, and the admins refused even tho like you I hadnt any knowledge about the game , or how I could at this time abuse this demand.

Still they stick to their rules even with new comers .

 

5/ If you want to enjoy the story I would suggest you to do the followin , this way you're not gonna waste your membership nore the full story pleasure :

Finish kanto as soon as possible , finish kanto Elite 4 aswell as soon as possible . Yeah you wont rly profit kanto story, but listen to me till the end, its imo the best way for you to reach your attempt.

Then go to do the quest to unlock the " cerulean cave " . Cerulean cave is the best place to train your pokemons to the highest level as the pokemons you encounter in that cave are around 60 level .

As membership duree are 15 day or 30 days ( regarding which one u bought ) you should from the time you unlocked the cerulean cave , should invest all of your online time to train the most pokemons possible to lv 100 already, because anyway u'll have to do it one day or another, so its better to profit of your membership activation for it.

That's also a way to make money, to train pokemons to lv 100 and sell them then, and sadly on PRO you'll need money for the game .

 

Once your membership run off, you then can go for johto/hoenn story, and enjoy it plenty without the membership boost.

 

This is how you can both profit of your MS and enjoy the story, at least hoenn/johto if not kanto, its better than nothing i guess :) gl

thanks for the detailed answer jeremco, i dont know if you understood my main problem.

yes, NOW i know that membership isnt for new people, but i didnt know that the exp boost would destroy the story that much. i dont care about the 2,5 $ i invested for the membership but the story just doesnt make fun if you are fighting with a lvl 65 arcanine and pikachu against lvl 30-35 enemies.

i dont care about leveling my pokemon to lvl100 atm because i wanna enjoy the story and still can push them later on to 100, but what i wanna do now is enjoy the story and have a tight fight now and then, but its not possible as my pikachu is 1-shotting with thundershock.

so if its not possible to delete the +50% XP alone, i am content with deleting my whole membership i bought.

Hi!

May i ask you which ms have you bought? Will try to find different solutions based on how long you will have it active.

Also would start by saying that if now story looks too easy, you will need way more exp once you will reach Kanto E4, since there we usually recommend lvl 85+ pokemons.

The membership bonus are indeed great, but in this case there is more to it than just the membership bonus. When you train a non fully evolved pokemon (Pikachu) the amount of experience you require to level up is inferior to the later stage of evolutions. Furthermore the NPC battle you just had (Gary) has extra experience bonus if you beat them at the first try, and that is because if you lose once to a NPC you won't receive any bonus at all, either XP and Pokedollars. This is a way for rewarding players you came fully prepared to battle in the quests :)

@ shamac yeah okay i see that gary is a special part but i felt like that in last few days, not just in 1 fight. i began to go to fuchsia city at the route 15 and fought all trainers, after that my lvl 40 espeon was lvl 55, its just not right in my opinion. you are right, my pikachu gets extra xp for not being evolved but my arcanine and espeon are getting out of control, too.

 

@ lucareus i bought the 15d ms. thanks for the info about the pokemons i need later in the game, but i think with my "type of play" in the story i should be fine. as i said, maybe i just was too fast at trying to play the game at the fullest level and destroyed my own story experience. i would be content with deleting my entire 15d membership if its not possible to deativate the xp boost only.
