This is annoying alreadly .but it angers me that the secret potion maker implies that I have to spend money for a side quest . I have alreadly bought a few revives and hyper potions for the gym . Is this a glitch or do I have to spend more then 20k to progress ingame?

I am sorry to hear that your are experiencing this inconvenience. Have you tried checking your bag to see if you have the item? As well as try talking to Jasmine at the top of the Olivine Lighthouse before talking with the Old Woman who gives you the secret potion? If so, what does Jasmine say if you try to talk to her again?
