hmm , maybe its only can pass with normal bicycle from NPC, not buy from coins shop ,

and i think bike from coins ship categorized as mount like others pokemon mount

The Bike quest in Vermillion city has also changed. Now you need to capture a Ditto and trade it with the NPC (in the house next to the Poke Center) for a bike voucher!!

The bug must have been there for a while, I guess no one reported it. It should be fixed now.
