[glow=blue]Here are my reasons for it:[/glow] Atm STALL-Teams are winning like almost 80%+ of all games. Alot of People getting mad because of this, because PRO is missing some protection against this. [glow=blue]Explaining, how Stall works:[/glow] Most of the Stall-Teams Setup Rocks/Spikes and going for switches from tank to tank to tank and force you to switch while crippling your switches with: Toxic, T-Wave, Scald- Burns and so on. If you try to setup a Dragons Dance on Gyarados, enemy switches to Ferrothorn, T-Wave you and Gyara is useless. Even with a Lum Berry, 1 DD is not enought to do something and he will go for a 2nd T-Wave, making your Wallbreakers an easy Target to get killed our outhealed by Softboiled cuze of max SPD loose. [glow=blue]This Pokemon are absolutly dominating the ladder right now:[/glow] • Tyrannitar • Tangrowth • Clefable • Togekiss • Blissey • Chansey • Slowbro • Ferrothorn • Skarmory • Gliscor • Donphan • Suicune [glow=blue]How Substitute can influence PRO in a very popsitive Way:[/glow] Substitute takes away a Part of your HP to setup a Substitute. While beeing in Substitute enemys can NOT use status moves on you like: • Sleep Poweder • Toxic • Thunderwave also they have to do a minimum ammount of dmg to you, to break the Substitute. [glow=blue]This would allow a Wallbreaker to be able to setup a Sweep! Example:[/glow] Gyarados vs Ferrothorn (usualy Ferro use para on him, Leech Seed and waits till he dies slowly or siwtch to another tank but with Substitute): 1. Gyarados used Substitute 2. Ferrothorn used Thunderwave...but it failed 3. Gyarados used Dragons Dance 4. Ferrothorn used Knock off 5,.Gyarados used Dragons Dance 6. Ferrothorn used Knock off 7. Substitute faded As you can see: Substitute allows to play arround WALLS and allows Wallbreaking Pokemon to be actualy usefull Wallbreaker. [glow=blue]Also, the following Pokemon would be more usefull, thanks to HUGE PRIO moves, that can counter Setups:[/glow] • Bisharp • Talonflame • Sciscor • Azumarill • Dragonite Imagine your enemy runns a FULL-Tanks-Stall team, without any gameknowledge,- just switching tanks in, untill ur enemys dies after 71 turns..not even predicting any move because it´s not needed in most cases. It´s frustrating to play against and also rly sad, that alot of GREAT Pokemon are useless in this Meta. Bash Posted August 30, 2017 Share Posted August 30, 2017 Stall Teams are very annoing and difinitely dominating the meta. To make Stall Teams weaker with a change in any way would be very nice. Substitude could help to "defend" (lel) against Stallers. Of course I'm talking to myself, sometimes I have to talk with an intelligent person. At the Endgame PVP is the most "wanted" Way to play the Game, beside farming better PVP Pokes. Meanwhile the Stall Meta is making people getting annoyed so they stop playing PRO because there is NO SENSE to play this Game anymore. The "New Game" is propably being released 2017 - 1 good point to stop PRO aswell. Sinnoh is fun. But its Done fast and there are maybe 2 farming Spots to farm. Boring. The "new" Island. Boring. THink about it not just sub-users also pokes like noivern/crobat can get viable because of infiltrator being useful then.
