Hey I got on today for the first time in a while and needed an update, but after I installed it whenever I launch the application I end up at a purple screen. I updated to the latest version of Max OSX, cleared out all previous versions, and have tried opening it with 2 different file converters.

 

This is the error I get when using unarchiver: https://imgur.com/a/m0vaD

 

If anybody knows how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Kopical, and sorry for the inconvenience!

 

There is indeed a pink login screen issue since the Halloween client update with Mac users that didn't update their OS to High Sierra, as stated in Discord's announcements as well as in similar threads:

Regarding the archive softwares for Mac, you can find some in the Read this before making a General Support topic:

  • The Unarchiver
  • WinZip5
  • Keka
  • BetterZiip

 


 

Also, remember to delete all the past PRO clients and folders you might have in your device, including the temporary files, and even from the trashbin, before you download the new client.
