Choice scarf bug

Featured Replies

Don't know if this belongs here, but it's not the first time I encounter this bug.

I was using Medicham with choice scarf, but some pokemons (like a life orb weavile for example) were faster than me, and shouldn't be.

Sorry that I don't have any evidence, but I hope you can fix this quick.

Yes, this bugged as already been reported. In order to 'activate' the scarf, u must first kill a wild poke/trainner mon, and then search for a pvp battle. (every time u enter the game u must do this).

Hope i could help

There is a known bug with choice scarf:

Items

Choice Scarf- During the first turn of use after relogging, the pokemon isn't given the Choice Scarf speed boost.

Was it something different from this? Otherwise this is known and listed in the PvP rules.

Also, Medicham has base 80 speed, Weavile has base 125. Even with Choice Scarf you wouldn't be going first.

80 x 1.5 = 120 < 125

(unelss I'm calculating this wrong)

Imagine the scarf like a light switch. everytime you kill a pokemon(wild/trainner, lets call it step one) that switch turns on, everytime u leave the game, its goes off, and in order to activate it again u need to do step one.

Not sure if it answer ur question

80 x 1.5 = 120 < 125

That's not how it has to be calculated, Medicham has 284 speed and Weavile 383 at lvl 100 :

284 x 1,5 = 426 > 383

Thanks for your answers, didn't know about that bug.

that calc is wrong.

Jolly, max spd, full ev trainned medicham reaches 284. weavile in same situation reaches 383.

284 x 1.5 = 426 > 383
