Welcome! This event is fairly short and simple, but I thought I'd make a quick guide in case a new player gets stuck, needs to check a boss lineup, or wants to know the location of a few hidden items. I hope everyone enjoys the event!

To access the event, you'll need to go to the right of Viridian City gym. There will be a pathway for you to take. You'll then talk to the guards that will tell you to visit the tower:

Upon entering the tower, you'll talk to The Love Choice NPC, which makes the player choose between battling either Aphrodite or Cupid. Endgame players that are prepared should face Aphrodite, while newer players should choose to face Cupid. Aphrodite resides on the 3rd floor of the tower, while Cupid is on the 2nd floor.

Upon defeating the boss of your choosing: Congratulations! You've finished the main quest!

As mentioned in the Pokemon Special Counterparts thread, Valentine's day-themed counterparts of Nidoran's family, Volbeat and Illumise were implemented in for the Valentine's day event, with a [glow=white]1/550 chance[/glow] of being found in the wild.

 

 

 

As soon as the event will be done, said Pokemon will not be any longer available in wild.

The Love Professor rewards you a Soothe Bell upon showing him a Nidoran M and a Nidoran F. The caught date of the Pokemon do not matter; all that matters is that it is your OT. Shiny variant Pokemon do not effect anything.

Upon defeating the boss of your choice, you will now be allowed to use the Event Tutor! You'll be able to tutor your Pokemon Frenzy Plant, Blast Burn, and Hydro Cannon.
