How do I unlock the DayCare center? Is the DayCare center just like in the games, or do things vary in PRO?

Hello there,

Things do vary in PRO: In order to unlock the Daycare Center ‒in which you'll find Eggmove Tutor, Doctor Quest NPCs and PRO Move Tutor, but no breeding‒, you will have to defeat Naero in Cerulean Cave :)

 

The Daycares are located as follow:

• Route 5 (Kanto)
  
• Route 34 (Johto)
  
• Route 117 (Hoenn)
  
• Solaceon Town (Sinnoh)
  
• Four Island (Sevii Islands ‒ there is no PRO Move Tutor there, nor eggmove, just Doctor quests)

Thanks for the quick reply, I really appreciate it. Just to clarify things about the Daycare, I CANNOT leave my Pokemon in there, return after a certain amount of time, and then find them leveled up, as in the games? This is coupled with absolutely NO breeding?

Indeed, it is not available either.

this guide for a few methods on how to level your pokémon faster than usual.

 

Furthermore, the Eggmove Tutor is just a NPC to talk to that will offer to teach moves to the poké you want, 15 000$ each, that would have been available via breeding, as a workaround to be able to get them without giving the option to breed perfect IVs Pokémon :Grin:

 

 

Whereas the PRO Move Tutor ‒formerly known as Pre Evo Move Tutor‒ are here so you can teach moves exclusive from pre evolution forms (for instance Spore on Breloom wouldn't be available anymore if forgotten, since only Shroomish can learn it via level up); each move will cost 10 000$!

 

In most Daycares, you will have to walk through the door behind the Eggmove Tutor and Doctor Quest NPC to get to the Tutor:

 

ouah first multi exp doesn't exist, then the daycare... it's harsh you really want people to give up this game. Leveling up pokes is so annoying !
