Hi, guys, let me introduce myself. I'm sakuraton from the nightmare guild. My query is as follows: yesterday I was testing the charizard with solar power + choice specs + buff STAB + buff sun and I came to the conclusion that it does not work as much as I thought. It is true that the damage is very great but it hurts more than it benefits.

On the other hand the charizard Blaze has a little less damage but I think you can give it a better use without depending so much on the sun.

Maybe I'm using the solar power incorrectly

thanks and regards

I think Charizard is pretty frail so it's gonna be pretty hard to get into the Blaze range, that's why i'm going to say Solar Power. But that's only if you want to play sun though,If you do not have team mates such as Torkoal or Ninetails I dont consider using Solar power cause it would be just useless and who knows blaze could save you.:o

If you want to use solar power you'll have to scout the opponents team well and properly wear down their charizard checks before sending it in to minimize the solar power damage, or you could even run a wish support mon to keep it healthy so you don't have to be as careful with it.

Without a doubt, Charizard's solar energy is more effective when it comes to doing damage. According to the calculation I made Charizard's solar energy with the attack base + solar + SUN + STAB would reach almost 1000 SPATK

However, I think that the charizard Blaze does not stay that far since without the 50% buff of the solar power, he would hit 700 spatk .. and without counting the blaze buff that the less life you have more hits

The calculation I did in solar power was: base attack 300 approximately + 50% SUN + 50% SOLAR POWER + CHOICE SPECS = 1000 spatk same calculation in blaze: 700 spatk Help me with this guys, it's good to debate it.
