The move Dig does not work how it should in fights. When you use it and you are "underground" the opponent can still hit you with every attack.

Hello zautic . I tested and dig is actually working , are you sure that wanst against a Pokémon that have a ability to passby it? Also remenber if you use dig against some Pokémon that have a Ground type move like earthquake Will hit you .

I know, but i fighted against a Ponyta and i used dig and then it used Flamewheel and it hit me for some reason.

 

EDIT: Ok now i know why i always was hit, my pokemon has the ability No Guard, which makes every move hit.
