PRO is definitely still worth playing if you’re looking for an MMO style Pokémon experience. The playerbase is very much alive. You’ll see people chatting, trading and helping new players (including on the PRO Discord). Events are still active and seasonal ones are busy, which keeps things interesting and gives you goals beyond just the story. There are regions to unlock, cosmetics to collect, mounts, legendaries and end game content that takes time and planning. The community is very friendly. The chat has plenty of people willing to answer questions, and there are guilds that welcome new players if you want a social side too. Overall, if you like classic Pokémon gameplay, gyms, bosses, trading, hunting, having long term goals…then PRO is a great fit. PRO is a long running world that will keep evolving.
