um... this is not how it works in the main series Pokemon games at least. Honestly this system is kinda dumb if only for making certain Pokemon ridiculously easy to train while [Censored] over others... by main series games you mean the hand helds right? higher evos have always required more exp than their respective lower evos since yellow version... its just part of the game and makes perfect sense. Stronger pokemon? harder to gain exp.

fine they way it is. Been like this in every pokemon game, been like this in pro since for ever. part of the story is making that decision of either evolving your poke for immediate strength or paying the price and lvling slow from that point on.

https://prntscr.com/dhrqo8 thanks a lot (Daeon specially :P). So we can use at most 3 non-ot poke in our final 6, this i believe is fair for both parties. So ideally when picking your 8-14 pokemon you would still want to select more OT pokemon and maybe 3-6 no-ot poke. (50/50 works too i guess)

Of course, we arent forced to participate in a one in a year event that gives exclusive rewards that some of us practice very hard for. Some of us who dont now have the time to be playing long enough to make a team from hunting (some of us who didnt even have the time during the first tournament). Most pokemon top tier pokemon are ER. You expect people to find 14 usable pokemon and train them within a month? you do realize we cant spawn poke like staff can? @_@

How so? Red already had a tournament, still awesome prizes besides the legend. it's there to prevent the "veterans" on just getting an easy go because they were around long enough to gather money and Pokemon of other People. We want a fair chance for everyone. wow such a smart move. Piss of the veterans and loyal players of the game. We already lost a significant portion of the player base. You can say good bye to the remaining serious pvp ones. Im done.

tbh you dont even need super epic pokemon for pvp.... I see a lot of people buying pokemon for more than 4/5m when they can get one for 1-2mil that will do the same job. There are a few exceptions of course, like Excadril where i would happily pay more for higher speed since exca speed tie can be game changing. But besides pokemon like that, really any decent iv pokemon would work.

This is asking for tempers to flare, but i dont want it to go there. All i'll say is, some of us are luckier than others in finding guilds we can call "family". If you dont understand that, then the least i can do is wish you better luck.

this an appalling statement for a person who is "staff". How can you call something else stupid just because you dont find it fun? What the op is saying is, people get bored of using the same old poke in the same old way all the time. So, like he said, "just for fun" sometimes you want to try unorthodox builds different sets that normally would seem ridiculous and may not even work but still, you are trying something new and theres always a little adventure in anything thats new. This isnt meant to win, its meant to detract from the limited number of poke and builds that they use in the current meta , for the sake of simply trying something new, for fun. Just because you only pvp to win, and you find that fun, doesnt give you any right to label what other people might find fun as stupid. Extremely disappointing to say the least... To the OP, i get what you're saying, but its unlikely that much will change in this department as the longer it takes to catch (considering rarity, nature, ability), ev train, lvl up a poke in PRO, the better it is for the survival of the game. Maybe in the future we could have a battle tower where we can create teams to battle with for that moment only, but its a far fetched idea and even if we do get battle tower, it would probably mean using what ever poke we have trained ourselves only. But at least that would offer something different to plain old pvp.

Unfortunately, this is a server-side glitch that can happen from time to time. Whenever this occurs, you have to wait until the next server reboot to play again. We have daily reboot, so at max you'll have to wait 24 hours before this problem solves itself. In the rare case, this issues cause by your low connection when you play game and got disconnect, and can potential solved by close completely client and open again. If not solved, you will need wait to reboot. For the future if you have any kind of issues, take a look at this thread containing the most commonly encountered problems with their corresponding solutions. i see, thanks for the quick response :) ( and no, restarting client didnt work, guess ill have to wait)
