Quit in April? That was only last month! Hardly qualifies as "coming back". If you went over at least the first page of the main sub forums here you would have the answers to every one of your questions (considering we are only looking at a gap of 1 month). Want attention much? And i'm sorry they are looking at ways to make more money. I guess servers are free and so is time and effort that goes into making / maintaining / updating the game. No need to make any money to support the very existence of the game. Maybe it will run on magical pixy dust and update itself as well. /Sarcasm off. Even when they did come up with an idea (that, tbh, was bad. I'll give you that much), they ran it by the community to make sure everyone was on the same page. The majority voted no, and it wasn't implemented. You know this, and yet you complain? They actually asked us for our opinion, respected it, and moved on. STILL you have the nerve to complain about it? If you still feel so entitled i suggest you go back to your "break", this surely isn't the game for you.

But what would we do without the drama?! Even ayman has seemingly calmed down! The real drama will start when guild ladder first place gets a worthy reward :3 On a serious note though, i do agree and i think we need to put our differences aside. The number of players isnt what it used to be, we really cant afford to be fighting amongst those who are left...

Niko please implement a battle tower! (like the one in the "game that must not be named"). Like full party survival streaks, half party, different game modes that i'm not creative enough to think of :|. You could also implement a guild challenge sort of thing in it, where guilds register teams to compete vs strong NPC battlers and which ever team wins at the end of a season gets their own guild house(team, not guild. maybe max 5 players per team, but all 5 members must be from the same guild. What I mean by this is, dont make it a summation of every player in the guild, but rather the team that gets the most points) until the next winner comes along and kicks them out. As far as I can see right now tournaments are limited to within guilds only. Add to that I am yet to see a (large scale) tournament where there is an entrance fee that would be added to prize pool eventually. The sort of cultures we had in that game that must not be mentioned.

Its a well known fact that the season lasts AT LEAST 1 month. That gives you plenty of time to experiment before actually aiming for a ladder spot. Want to preserve a good win/loss ratio (which, honestly, means nothing and is simply an ego/image thing)? Test teams with friends! I'm sure your guild must have competitive players who would pose a decent challenge compared to the random unranked opponent right? Besides, no one is saying "dont test or dont use the pokemon you like (who may not be the best fit for pvp)". Do so, but with one account. As for the rule at the moment, I agree it isn't put in place in the best of ways. But then staff have acknowledged this and are working on a better way of enforcing it. Until then, we'll have to abide by the rules. Besides, if anyone does intentionally throw games like you said, and gets caught, they would have to face the consequences. If anything, it's you who is trying to find an easy way in winning since you want to limit some players to one account. Why should you tell me what to do? People can queue with different mentalities. Like many other games. On Pokemon Showdown it's common to make different accounts in order to play with different pokemon that are seen as less viable. I tried to say that i didn't only play different teams for doing cynical tests but it seems like no one got that point. Why should the time of the month decide when i should play what i want if i have time to play there? Why should i only be able to do what i want the first 3 weeks of the month or whatever if i wanna go for the ladder at the same time? And why should i have to contact other people personally and ask them to play with me? You don't know my relations with my guild or who i am or if i wanna use stuff and just queue in peace alone. You shouldn't decide any of this. It's clear that we got entirely different opinions on this matter so let's just agree to disagree. As for the rule, i'm just pointing out that there is a paradox where you get punished if you win and punished if you have to lose. A staff member recently told another player that he had to drop his second account off the ladder right away, so he basically told him to lose intentionally (even though that staff member didn't read the rules properly since it states "at the end of the season" but w/e). By "you guys" I am referring to everyone that wants this rule revoked. How on earth is making ladder more competitive by forcing people to use main teams making it easier for anyone to win? :| No one is telling you not to queue. I was simply giving you work arounds to the rule, not telling you "what to do". Besides, this is a "Ranked" ladder. Ranked. It's supposed to be competitive. Not only does this rule enforce that it also brings some life to unranked. I'm not sure if you were around when we had only unranked battling (I think you were, you are an experienced player here anyway, no disrespect what so ever), it actually gave battle chat life and people communicated with each other more than for just trading. I agree with the paradox and did hear of the incident... I do concede, it completely throws off any reason to have this rule. Surely you can't ask someone to lose on purpose... either enforce the rule to the point of "you were caught using two accounts on ladder, here's a temp ban" or dont enforce it at all.

Not any pokemon. They can use certain legendaries or shiny variants of non-legends (only one of either) in ranked as well. There is a list of pokemon that cannot be used that the staff have to adhere to as well. To answer your question, Deidara7 is the player account of Kagawa.

Hey everyone! Finally got around uploading my videos from the not so recently concluded Official PRO tourney. I really don't want to come off as showing off (I didn't win soooo) or dissing any of the people I defeated along the way to the Finals. I'm sure there will be players interested from a neutral stand point and I hope everyone can watch these battles with a similar frame of mind. Hey, just a quick question. Sine Daeon isn't around anymore I don't know whom to ask this from so to General forum it goes. The first and second placed contestants from the recently (actually, its been a while now) concluded official tournament were promised a unique cloak/cosmetic item as one of the rewards. When, if ever, are we getting these?

Before we had pvp coins we were rewarded pvp clothes, which is where the other colors came from. 1st season -> Red 2nd Season -> Green 3rd Season -> Blue they are unobtainable anymore except by being placed first or second in the recently concluded official tournaments.

5 life orbs =/= automatic win (infact its so imbalanced that it almost equates to an automatic loss). When will people stop asking for bans of everything they cant think for more than 5 seconds on how to counter. IF you arent capable of that much, im afraid pvp isnt for you, stick to NPCs please.

really dont see what the big deal is here. The move has 100% accuracy when it shouldnt, a clearly broken move. You complain about goth, sand veil chomp and sableye. All of those were and still are working as they should (nothing is broken). The only exception would be confuse ray (which isnt limited to sableye) but that was fixed as soon as it was discovered that it wasnt working as intended (again, fixing something that was clearly broken). For all the complaining that people did about goth and sable, neither were optimum pokemon for securing a ladder spot... Without any pvp updates for a long time, people found ways to counter goth and it became an even worse pick. What were you complaining about? As for leech seed, ok, so you registered certain pokemon for the tournament where you must have planned to use leech seed. This is a move that is quite easily substituted. Who are the main users of this move (that are actually viable pvp pokemon)? off the top of my head, ferro, breloom, venu and rose. Every single one of them have wide enough move pools to not just survive in the meta but excel in it (a meta without life orb) without using leech seed. leech seed itself is too passive now to work in normal ranked now with all the offensive teams people are running. Why dont you stop crying and think of all the possible moves you could run instead?

Would you bring Entei in ranked excepting showing off ,with a set off Sfire, bite,toxic,facade ? While you can have a different speech based where you are speaking is quite hypocritical , one of the reasons i leaved Blaze , being doggys to the staff , and bashing them on discord all day longs , and you were wearing aswell a kind of "elitist" coat , w'r god ,the rest is trash , but yeah in the first place most of you weren't that near being just good imo. But when we are being listened to and changes are being made you have to give them their props. And yes id run entei (not with that moveset though o.O). Arca has always been a favorite of mine and with defiant being fixed and all this is almost perfect for me :D As for you leaving blaze, this is completely off topic, but i what you're saying isnt fair. We arent "doggys" to the staff. The founders of this game, and most of the initial staff have been blaze members since before even the conception of pro. if anything, we get a lot of flak from staff, or at least we used to (several blaze membrs who were staff were removed all at the same time for shady reasons...). Anyway, thats a thing of the past. The point im trying to make is that, while our relationship with staff is closer than most, its doesnt mean that we such upto them and talk behind their backs. As i said, im very open about my opinion (on this thread alone i was very vocal before they amended the ot rule). As for an elitist opinion. Here i have to concede, guilty as charged. But none of us are of the opinion that we are the best pvper or hunter or collector in game (even if as a guild we do have a high opinion of ourselves as one of the top guilds in game). In fact you know we have always had a very high opinion of you as a battler.... we arent going to get any further changes... all that left is to battle now :|

omg the amount of rage.... guys can we just appreciate the work they are putting into this? not just the game itself, but going out of their way to organize a tournament of this scale, and that too across 3 servers... We complained about OT rule, they compromised, and made it fair for both parties. I for one was completely against OT only rule (i never hunt :|), but they changed that to accommodate those of us who prefer not to, or simply dont have the time to hunt Tier 9 epic pokemon. There are so many top tier pokemon that are easy to obtain with which 50% of a strong team can be made (arca, weavile, champ, donphan to name a few). We got the change we wanted, you should have stopped crying here and gone about actually making your team... As for the rewards, they are balanced, unique and brag worthy. what more do you want? IF the winner (who would have to be the best, or at least one of the best battlers in pro) were to receive an over powered pokemon as a reward, it would only make that player even stronger, further increasing the gap between aspiring pvp players and seasoned pros (while also increasing his/her chances of winning the next tournament). the way it is now, the winner will receive a very usable pokemon that doesnt give him/her an unfair edge while still being unique and rare. what more do you want?
