  1. Hi rimanmblo,

Unfortunately, all wild Pokemon must use their default moveset, that is, their last 4 level-up moves. We have been avoiding unwanted moves such as self-harming moves and item steal moves by manipulating the levels of the Pokemon, but in the case of Poliwrath, because of the shallow level-up movepool of stone evolution Pokemon, removing Hypnosis would require to bump its level to 43, which would cause different problems as you can imagine. As such, we believe that the current state is the best possible for now.

If I may give a suggestion, why not just replace Poliwrath with Klinklang, another +3 Def EV pokemon that doesn't have the Hypnosis issue?

Klinklang isn't exactly a meta Pokemon due to lack of good movepool and good ability, it's not even as good as Poliwrath.

And even though it's not a Kanto Pokemon, we already have Dustox, a Hoenn Pokemon, in Effort Wald 1. So putting another non-Kanto in Effort Wald 2 shouldn't be an issue, right?

  2. The storage box... we all know that thing is a top to bottom nightmare, there are many MANY things that can be done to improve it. (Make it sortable, namable folders, etc.)

Yeah, there was an old thread detailing everything that can be done to improve it (it's way too old to bump now unfortunately, I'm not sure if the thread even still exist), but it seems the staffs consider updating the PC box as low priority, even though it's an update wanted by many for a long time......

Not only mass release, a proper sorting that affects the entire PC box instead of just the current page, and name-able folders, we also need more space (yes, 900 slots are not enough especially when we get the Gen 7 Pokemon) and an expanded search system, for example an option to search all the Pokemon that has certain ability.

  3. Speaking of unfair, I'll add that as most people have noticed, the WQ lately tends to have an unfair bias for Gold server, giving Gold an easier target compared to Silver.

They should fix that before giving us WQ again.

Another unfair thing they should fix first before giving us the WQ again, is the selection of the Pokemon that can become WQ target. It makes no sense that a Pokemon like Yamask can get chosen, when the best way by far to hunt it require MS, meaning only MS users can enjoy the WQ. The spawn is way too hard without MS.

And speaking of MS, it's even worse when it needs MS and has a low spawn rate. Remember how ridiculous the time it took for Foongus WQ to complete? More than 12 hours. Foongus is supposed to be a tier 7 spawn with repel trick which should make it really easy, yet the spawn rate definitely does not reflect that, pretty much everyone agree it feels like it's a tier 9 spawn, hence the long time for the WQ to complete. If it was as easy as it should have been, the WQ wouldn't take that long to complete. I think staffs should check to see if Foongus spawn rate is bugged. Golett is also a really hard one, being tier 8, no repel trick, and the spawn is not all the time. Remember that staffs actually had to force a Golett outbreak just so Silver can complete the WQ.

  4. According to me, though it is a very good idea, I won't support it because this can make the game much more easier than ever before. And if this game becomes this much easier, then the people might think that they should better look out for a more difficult game. Who wants to play an easy game? No one because they know that the game is easy and spending time on it is waste. The thing which forces our PRO Community to spend hours and hours on the game is that this game is a very tough one and as the time passes and we manage to get the badges, our mind also forces us that if we can do this much good in the game, so why not far away extreme quality gaming is possible? So, in the end, my final opinion is that the idea of "Reroll Ticket for Legendary Pokémons" is not good for the future and welfare of the game.

Legendary reroll is already in the game for a long time, without any bad effect. If we can get another legendary of the same species like how we hunt for normal Pokemon then sure, that should be enforced instead of rerolling the IVs of the one we already have, but the thing is, we can't get another. We can only get 1 of each legendary. And getting a reroll ticket takes a long time anyway, which balances it out.

Besides, it's not about making it easier, it's about making the reward worth it, since like I said above, you literally can't get a new one. Nobody likes spending hours to catch a legendary (not to mention the initial hundreds of hours of playtime requirement for the quest) only to find out it has crap IVs after all that effort.

Also this topic isn't even about that :p

This topic is about having a preview before you reroll.

    • Were any parts of the event (or the whole thing) so terrible that we should delete them and forget they were ever added?

The respawning of the grimers according to me should be removed from the quest.

Agree with this, it was a terrible idea because there's no way you can figure out how to get to all of the Grimer's locations in one go with all those holes along the way, and unless you have someone with you in the game who already finished the quest and willing to act as the guide, you will not reach the Muk in time, especially if you use youtube video as a guide instead. Having to flip between youtube and the game takes a lot of time, even when playing in PC. As a result, I believe many players have to go back at least once, and cannot get the Shiny Gracidea, getting a Black Gracidea instead.

The whole thing with Kyurem Quest's Reroll Ticket or Easter Shaymin Quest's Shiny Gracidea in particular, is something I would like to see NOT being repeated again. The idea of such reward is fine, a great idea even, but the requirement for it being a completely perfect playthrough is a bad idea, since there's too many variable that would make most players' playthrough of the quest be not perfect. I already missed the Reroll Ticket from the Kyurem Quest, and now I missed the Shiny Gracidea as well. In my opinion, the requirement should allow some wiggle room, like for example, you are allowed to lose in the quest just once, or you are allowed having to redo a part of the quest just once. Basically, doing the quest almost perfectly, 99% instead of 100%, is still valid for the reward. Missing a special reward just because of that 1% is extremely annoying, especially if that 1% is something not under your control, like for example the server/your own connection going out while you are in the middle of an important battle.

  5. Yea absolutely terrible idea for the market and value of good shinies.

But what about implementing shiny reroll with conditions attached?

eg. The rerolled shiny has to be your OT poke

And once rerolled the poke can't be traded, much like legendaries.

This should allow rare shinies naturally spawned with good ivs to hold their value, while making shiny more useable in general?

Yeah, shiny rerolling is a good idea (or bad, but IMO shinies deserve rerolls) depending on how the system/implementation is, and I agree with this one.

  6. Yeah, I think shinies deserve to be able to have their IVs rerolled.

It's even less likely to encounter even one, than it is to get a legendary. So the "just find a new one" excuse really can't be used here.

  7. I also just found out now that my Shaymin-Sky lost its moves, how am I going to get Air Slash back now that the map is closed? Is the level-up move list fixed already, allowing it to learn Air Slash via level-up?

And what about people like me who already taught their Shaymin-Sky tutor moves? No compensation whatsoever? XD

Dazzling Gleam and Earth Power are among the most expensive tutor moves in the game......and now I have to teach them to Shaymin again.

Plus, maybe I just missed it, but I didn't recall seeing any announcement about staffs deleting Shaymin-Sky's moves.

  8. I don't really think of MORE SPACE as there's also a limit of 4 accounts per user, where you could easily spend some time on going for the 4 gym and store your pokes in the secondary account which would lead you to a 1800 Pokemon storage, up to 2700 if I'm not mistaken between all four accounts.

Going back and forth between 4 accounts shouldn't have been a necessary requirement just to store Pokemon.

  9. We need a lot more space too, especially since now it's confirmed they are working on Gen 7 Pokemon.

Even just for pokedex collection, currently the amount of obtainable pokes already totals to somewhere around 810, and the PC box currently only has 900 slots (including the 6 slots in team), so we have less than 100 slots left. That might be enough for Gen 7 Pokemon, but many players have multiples of a species (for example, multiple Abra as syncs, or keeping a few epics/different builds or sets, or alternate forms). And people usually hunt many Pokemon (for example, hunt 50 Exeggcute) before stopping to check all of them, so the PC box needs that many empty slots for them. There's definitely not enough slots left in that case.

  10. I've seen some people reporting this already, but just in case the fix is individual-based instead of being applied to everyone, I'll report as well so the staffs know I have the issue too :)

Just like what happened to others, the Egg Master insist I only found 39 egg baskets and still ask for 1 more egg basket, even though I followed the guide that has all 40 locations, and I'm very sure I got them all.

So....hope this gets fixed soon ;)
