I also noticed almost all 20 of my friends on my FL don't play anymore whenever I log in. you see one or two, but take for instant Epiphany. I loved seeing her online, but she never really gets on anymore - like me.

Just going to point out, I dont' find the game 'boring' It's just the same feeling I had with Tera. A good game to me is either something that's "Flashy and fast." Or "Rich and Immersive Story." Pro's just lacking on both it feels like and I can't get myself to invest large amounts of my limited time in it when games like hearthstone and league exist. But of course, this same fault is why I don't play Civ often. x-x

So I'm a person who has ALOT of games. But I'm also the type who feels straight up guilty when I play one over another cause I spent money on them. How do you keep getting on pro day after day and such? I get on it for atleast an hour or two a day it seems but.. I can't even get myself to stay on for long periods of time. Music is tedious, grinding gets tedious, everything just gets tedious. Specialy once I started Johto and spent 7 hours looking for an aipom just to find a jigglypuff. I was like "Ok w/e." and got off lol.

So I do not know how to post an image, but I took a screen shot It's a bright purple tile that stands out against the rest of them somewhere in the rock tunnel.. I found it last night but I forgot to record where I found it at. the image would give some clarification but I can't figure out how to post it.

Ouch, what happend?

It would be a very good Idea for the future, to when you challenge another trainer to a battle to allow the 'challenger' to setup rules for the battle. Aka how many pokemon versus how many. Maybe it like a bit where "1 versus 4" and such. The challengee has to accept the rules, it would be good say for someone who is battleing their friend. "See if you can beat my >insert pokemon name< with your whole team." Also maybe remove the black out after a duel? Along with possibly setting up a 'reward' system where players can put items (specifically items) up for barter. Winner gets both, loser gets known. And make the loser give up a portion of their money to the winner. We already know when you black out you get sent back to a pokemon center and lose a portion of your money? Maybe make that money go to the trainer - but prevent a black out. The 1hp rule would be a good Idea. Like alot of games have when dueling. The battle is over but all the players pokemon are left at 1hp. Enabling the trainer to heal them up and continue on their journey.

Re: Known Issues <r>Okay so In this update I want to say that I have officially tried <I><s></s>every<e></e></I> fix. <br/> <br/> @Pokedex 's solution worked ONCE, I was able to open it - try to log int o find out servers were down.<br/> Closed it - tried to open it up afterwards and got watchdog'd. <br/> <br/> I noticed that it wouldn't work period on anything above 800x600 though also. <br/> <br/> So. yeah, no fix for me, no pro. Having your computer crash over and over all because win10 forced an AutoUpdate oh yeah go win 10!!!!<e> </e></QUOTE> Actually your statement is completely false - windows 8 was a problem yes.<br/> But anyone truly having problems with window's 10 auto update feature just is too stupid to go into their settings and turn off auto restart.<br/> Or set a specific time for it to restart, it gives you a notification WAYYY ahead of time before it even restarts.<br/> It's safer antivirus wise too, Aka they keep the virus database constantly updated - you don't really have all the underlying problems like you do with windows 7.<br/> <br/> The main thing that most people have a problem with is the streamlined "We want to provide better service." personality that it has, yet you can always opt completely out of Microsoft sending error reports. They just hit "Yes use recommended." instead of going into advanced, even though it does warn you when you upgrade.<br/> <br/> The main problems with updates and a persons personal computer crashing because of it - was a rare case and not widespread - many people blamed it on windows 10 instead of checking their graphics card drivers.<br/> BECAUSE MANY Drivers had to update to a compatible format with windows 10 - if you didn't update your system would crash because no programs were supported on windows 10 graphically.<br/> <br/> Anyhow, instead of talking about how much <I><s></s>Garbage<e></e></I> windows 10 and 8 is, lets talk about how <I><s></s>garbage<e></e></I> the pro staff is for not even considering for a moment the fault for half of these errors is on <B><s></s>their<e></e></B> side. <br/> You have a VARIETY of players, popping up after your RECENT patch.<br/> And all you can do is fiddle your fingers and say "It's your fault for having windows 10 and 8?" Or lets not forget "It's a problem with your hardware." Excuse me Sage, <I><s></s>What.<e></e></I> I'm so utterly sorry my hardware is so crappy that it can run up to 7 games at the same time with a solid 60-90 fps yet it can't run this <I><s></s><U><s></s><B><s></s>blasted infuriating<e></e></B><e></e></U><e></e></I> game. I'm being SORT of patient but it's been <I><s></s>THREE<e></e></I> days now, How many watchdog errors were there even <I><s></s><B><s></s>BEFORE<e></e></B><e></e></I> this update? huh? <br/> <br/> But no, it's an error with OUR computers. Sorry, but don't shrug this off as a windows 8/10 error only, that's just infuriatingly stuck up and uncalled for. <br/> <br/> You have atleast 17 people with this error, out of the people I've talked to. <B><s></s><I><s></s><U><s></s>atleast<e></e></U><e></e></I><e></e></B> who i've talked to. There are probably more, many more. No answers are coming out of you guys either, many of their posts are going unanswered because alot of us don't know a fix when <B><s></s><I><s></s>your suggested fixes<e></e></I><e></e></B> don't work. <br/> <br/> No, I will not calm down over this error - this is 3 days of my membership GONE. So, SORRY, I've spent money on this game, and it's not a personal choice <B><s></s><I><s></s>NOT<e></e></I><e></e></B> to play. The only reason i'm bugging you so much about this is because I REALLY love your game and would like to actually experience it with my dear friends who are playing it. The least you as a staff could acknowledge is that it MAY be an error on your side. If you have, and I have not seen it yet - then I apologize. If you haven't then you need to take a good look and figure out WHAT went wrong between last update and this update. Did someone get sloppy? Was there a small error with win8 and 10 formats?<br/> <br/> Also no, they can NOT change the solution - it watchdogs them right away if they try to. <br/> So you either have to suck it up and play it in kronk resolution or not play it at all.</r>

Re: Known Issues <r><QUOTE author="Sage"><s> </e></QUOTE> @PhanCast This post has been updated since you posted. New version gave me the problem, you guys changed something KEY between the old update and this newer one.

Does your fix actually fix it? or are you just guessing upon a solution? I had the same exact problem and that fixed it, so I guess yea. Didn't fix it for me. Did absolutely nothing.

Getting Watchdog violation notice - windows10.
Pinknblack replied to Pinknblack's topic in General Support
I've done all these, tried all and yeah - none work. XD I think they need to really stop saying it's on OUR side and actually take into consideration it might be something with the client. Most of the posts I've seen about it are them telling someone "It's a problem with YOUR" hardware My friend's works for the IT department of a local computer fixing place, and he's a HUGE gamer. Well when I told him I was getting the Watchdog violation he was REALLY surprised because he checked out my computer just a few weeks ago (I have him do check ups for me since he does them for free) that I was getting the error. He checked it out, nothing, nada, biggest threat is my light novels out of the whole thing. All drivers are good, graphics card is good to go - everything is good to go. So HE says it's on Pro's side, and that they most likely already know there is an error but are just unsure how to fix it. So basically we have to wait until they figure out how to fix it. -
Does your fix actually fix it? or are you just guessing upon a solution?
-
Yeah. Window's 10. Okay so whats up? "This is something with your hardware?" HOW? Nothing else gives me this problem except YOUR game. It literally crashes my WHOLE computer. "Well try these fixes." Nope, nada, nothing. I even called up my IT friend and had him take over my computer to adjust stuff he said might be the problem, he looked up my drivers too "everything seems fine, I don't know why the game isn't working for you." Run as admin Disable fast startup(Which was disabled because I had disabled hibernate.) Repair drivers (Which takes so long so Not even attempted yet.) Things are wonky and It ticks me off and I'm sorry but it's just really unfair that this ONE game I've gotten so addicted to is not even playable because it completely crashes my computer. :Frown:  :Frown: The main thing is that THE OLD VERSION WORKED FOR US PERFECTLY That are experiencing this problem Why would our hardware - within a not even 24 hours - stop working and say we're all janked up and malfunctioning? This is just insane. "It's on your side." WHY is it on our side when it's so many people having the singular problem with PRO alone? I play league, hearthstone, binding of issac, civ V, TF2, smite, twom, portal 2, final fantasy XIIIV ON MY COMPUTER. NEVER this error. (That's only 1/3rd of my games.) I'm pulling my hair out because i'm doing all these things to destroy my computer basically for the sake of just one game because I REALLY want to play this game. Please stop saying it's just on OUR sides. It's not JUST on our side, it's something with your client too i'm almost 100% at this point.

Okay. Why? All of that is no better than an auction house if you don't actually present an argument of when, why, and how an auction house is objectively damaging and then successfully defend it. You can't use your own brain to weighs the pros and cons? Pros: Auction house - easier to trade/sell pokemon to a wider audience and buy/seller safety measures. Cons: Monopolization, pricing wars, irregular economic based prices. Correct Miles?

Any questions regarding my statement? Because you decided to question my original one since you could not understand the topic nor the warning I am simply providing. It would be best if you thought of ways you might prevent a monopoly, because I can assure you - I'm a fan of trying to monopolize aspects of a games financial structure. I tend to do it not with the thought of making a profit ,but with making it fair to a general public rather than a select few. Aka I bought that 60k shiny stone and resold it for 30k. It was more fair to others, I didn't make a profit from that instance, yet It was more fair.

Well yes I chose one SMALL point to embrace in what I was saying due to the fact the broader meaning of the attributed message should be carried across to the reader. Did you not get what I mean? If not let me re-explain it for those that have never taken part in a community controlled economy. Three people have the same pokemon. Two of these pokemon sell it for a higher price than the first. The first sells out - the next two sell out. They all sell out. Truth. You are limited to the resource you can produce at the set amount of time. But - Those three get the pokemon again, maybe theirs a simple little adjustment, one of them might have more of that one pokemon than the other two - lets say he has 3 of the one pokemon, while the other two only have ONE of that pokemon. He can monopolize the pricing game towards making himself a larger product. BUT All of them should sell out at the end of the day since the community seems to not put that much effort into going after ONE pokemon to sell. But form what I have observed, The community is reaching a point where there are quite a few dedicated 'hunters' that seek out good pokemon to sell instead of personally use. Honestly my statements are in thought and experience towards many games where the community controls the economy, I enjoy this type of game. Now with that said you can't honestly sit down and draw out EVERY action and reaction that could and would happen within a community. We might have one of the UTTERLY best communities in the world when it comes to finances and fair pricing - but more often than not theirs usually an insane cliff within a financial status of a games community. People tend to monopolize, People tend to take over the game when it comes to pricing. My statement was not that this calculator was useless, but it was in regards to that thought and I failed to express it heavily enough. Say Player A sells his sneasel for 100k - Say player b sells his sneasel for 80k. Player A buys Player b's sneasel and sells both for 100k. NOW nobody gets the cheaper sneasel. Now you can say that won't happen here - you can say we'll have a fair economy. But whats to stop a group of players or a 'guild' from taking this into consideration? Say with rare items - they see players selling rare items and they snatch them all up and monopolize the market for said-items. Quite a few items are rare to even get or see someone selling them, what would happen if one large guild- which their is already two that I KNOW of who are practicing this, decide to buy up all the items and sell them for insane prices just because they know the players will be forced to either grind the items themselves - or pay their insane prices for the items. Macro versus micro economics now - Since we do not truly have a large economy - and there is no true 'businesses' that sell large amounts of rare items/pokemon at a time (yet they are starting to appear) You can assume and accept that considering the economy as a whole AS IT IS would not be the SMARTEST option. One must consider that the micro, the small majority of players selling on their own - have the individual standing of prowess in this economy for the moment. They don't have rules or regulations or a guild to limit what they do. They can charge what they want if they know people can't match them - Aka someone tried selling me a shiny stone for 60k versus someone else who sold it to me for 20k VAST difference in price. There is no whole macroeconomics theme as it is right now, but I am making these statements to warn that trying to set an average price to help people understand what to sell at - would only enlighten people who wish to monopolize the economy. There IS guilds and players out there that are starting to buy up rarities to hold and resell as they deem appropriate. That is not bad, but that will influence the economy. You can't fight it either if the person is smart with finances they can easily take out anyone who tries to oppose them with fair prices - and if it's a guild of five or more people working together for this singular goal - then you will never truly gain a foothold. Now these monopolies are not bad - If we look at phone service providers and how US Cellular&Verizon bought out altell - Altell couldn't compete with them, but due to the larger two phone service providers buying them out - THEY still got money. My statement does not equal anything bad, it is just defining the economy that is to come with the way of freedom that most players have as of now.

Xodus wrote: Source of the post > Right click PRO and go to" Compatibility" > Check the box, run in 640x400 resolution > Load the game. It should not crash (if this works for you). Now your screen will look really wonky and you probably cannot click on anything. Hit Alt+Enter to normalise your screen, and then head to the settings to play in a slightly lower resolution than your main screen and DISABLE FULLSCREEN. It won't let me do this one. I also am scared to even try to open it at the moment.. and apparently my drivers did update cause my last restart installed them. I literally can't even open the game - most of the options on there "(like the power one) I don't know how to do. Updating the drivers? they just updated. Should I just try redownloading pro tonight-? Because I can't find that power option even IN advanced power options.
