And these 3 pokes are only found in safari zone for non-members which costs 5k per 20mins. If you can get these 3 pokes within less than 15 safari runs (300 mins total), then it may be worth doing it for you. Else, you should have just bought the arcanine mount from other players much cheaper and less hassle. My response is about whether is doing the quest worth it in my perspective.

Note that max total EV's is 510 as mentioned. Maybe some EVs's are distributed in other stats that's why you can't make 252. For a single poke max total is 252-252-6 for a single poke. That's 2 maxed out stats out of the 6

had the same experience when i was quite new XD. a happiny, a machoke and a kingdra was entrusted to trade evolve with me form different players. I like the community as it is, but I fear that it's only because this game isn't that publicized yet to the majority which can include scammers and players for profit :(

I did that to Lance's dragonair before reaching vermillion. But instead of sturdy, I timed dig with his hyper beam. Every player reached at that point. in my case, I got stuck with sabrina and her psychic pokes . Instead of ranting(no offense), I examined my pokemon and try to augment my team. In your case, your team got stuck at this point. In my opinion, most of your pokes in oyur team aren't durable enough to withstand his attacks(mostly relying on speed) and your main carry(the gyarados) are way too underleveled to be even effective. Yes we are limited, but we have to make use of what we can have. Originally, I wanted to have either murkrow or absol or maybe even darkrai to fight sabrina, yet I only found houndour which I fully utilized until Giovanni.

I defeated blaine with just one run in red server. I just did an all out counter type attack (mostly ground attacks from my nidoking) and aqua tail with gyarados. I ignored burn effects as I have both left overs and blacksludge. As I recall, my avg level of pokemon is ~65 I thought buff maxstack is only 6 times up which equates to + 300% more] Maybe if even one of your gyarados lvl is around 65, he can most likely pawn 2-3 blaines pokes. Gyarados is quie tankywith decent speed. 20+ lvl difference is pretty huge even with countertypes.
