Incorrect. There are certain pokemon that give 2-3 EV's, usually an evolved form of a Pokemon. Oh, well sorry for my error. Either way a Lvl 80 should have already maxed their EV's. I wasn't trying to be rude, I was just helpin' out! And yeah, a level 80 would by far have maxed EV's, but I assumed he knew how EV's worked, it looks like he has EV's in multiple stats.

EV's only go up to a max of 255 per stat, for a total of 510 EV's a pokemon can even get. Since 4 EV's = 1 stat, only 252 of the 255 are ever really "used." You probably have the max amount for your Gengar, a total of 510.

You guys have to rack in a few thousand dollars per month from donations. Wouldn't a server with a few K slots be less than that? Just my thinking at least. A few thousand dollars? I have no idea where you got that info from but its utterly false. It obviously wasn't a "fact", I just assumed because of how many memberships and mounts I see in-game.

hello everyone, I am ktempo and I just joined this community about 3 days ago. I set out not only to be the best trainer on the server but to meet new and interesting people. I've been playing for 16 years so it's definitely not my first time around the block. Hoping to see you all in game, and beating you in battle! :-)

Figured I'd post an introduction here, seems like the cool thing to do. I'm ktempo. It's been a nickname that's stuck with me for 8 years now, and my real life friends even call me it. I go to university where I study computer science as well as aspects of business / finance. I enjoy many genres of video games but Pokemon is a game that has always come back, even though I've been playing it for 16 years. I found this server while playing PokeMMO and figured I'd give it a shot. To my surprise, this runs and feels a lot better than the former so I went ahead and made an account and started playing, just this past week. I'm not very far, being mauled by Brock 3 times before I beat him but I love the map design and can tell this game has a lot to offer. Looking forward to meeting some of you in-game, and eventually beating you all in ranked battles. Smell ya later.

That's something that blew me away as well. It's the little things that make the game so much more fun. I love how it'll show you what level a pokemon learns moves at too, that's amazing.

I'd like an idea like this as well. I know this is far-fetched, but you could try to implement a server-wide battle between the two factions, and record the W/L ratio to see who truly is the better side. Or, you can make faction-exclusive areas that the others have to try to raid by battling and beating the opponents? Just spitting out random ideas ha

It can be anything; from the custom made maps to the difficult gym battles, list one single thing that makes this game so fun to you. I would say mine is simply the beautiful map design along with the ability to see other trainers. That alone makes me want to keep playing.

1. Spectate mode. PokeMMO has this feature where you can spectate other players' battles. Doesn't seem like it'd be too hard to do, and it's a nice little way to encourage your friends to beat up on that weak pokemon! 2. Ability to see where your friends or other players are at in the game. Doing maybe a /find command or right clicking on a player to show the town / route they are in. I think that would be pretty neat as well. 3. Hotkey for Pokedex / Backpack / Trainer Card. It's a bit annoying to have to use my mouse, I wish I could just use my keyboard all together. Private messages are also a bit tedious, you need to click on them to type in them. I can see why, but I wonder if there could be an alternative. Maybe a whisper function? 4. Color for your friends and their names. It'd be nice to have maybe an orange color for a friends name you see in-game? 5. Not sure if this is in the game, but a way to see others' "stats" if you will. Maybe their W/L in battles, their badges, # of pokemon, etc. When you right click them perhaps? Maybe even show what pokes they have, but that could be a bit advantageous to you. All I can think of right now. Would love to hear what you guys have to say / think about these. Definitely open to discussions!

Wait. You won't get money if you lose the first time? Uhh... Okay... That's kinda sad actually Yeah, gives you an incentive to train up your pokemon though aha

I think the whole "no breeding" thing is pretty cool even though I like to breed. It forces you to work with what you've got, and it makes for more competitive, more different teams and move sets. I also dislike how little money you make, but I can see why things are so expensive and such, need a money sink in every MMO. Lastly, the whole gym leader system is a bit weird to me. I lost to Brock today on his Onyx, so that means that I don't get ANY experience the second time around nor do I get any money. That really sucks because I'm strapped on cash and was hoping to get some more potion money. But it is what it is, it's challenging and I like that.

So I've looked quite extensively around the forums but have not found any answers. I also went to the kiwi chat but got no help. The in-game chat doesn't help either, it's just spam. So I figured I'd come here. I have a few questions I'd like to get answered if possible. 1. Is there a way to hotkey our trainer card /backpack / pokedex? 2. Is there a GTS / buying system for Pokemon in this? 3. Is there a way to stop all of the spam in the chat and ONLY see LOCAL chat? I can't figure that out. I don't care about battling or trading, I just want to see local chat for now. Also, are there chat tabs for just like friends? 4. If I wanted to donate, where do I go to do that? I can't find the page where I can become a member at. That's it for all... I'll probably have more as I think of them but overall I enjoy this, probably moreso than PokeMMO but it still needs some work to it.
