Could this not be done regardless? Unless its mandatory to show the stats of all of the party Pokemon in the video too which is just needless excess tbh - but if you guys will review every video, thats your workload. Credit to you if you guys will review 3 videos per battle and cross reference each users party mons with their submission.

You can screenshot for that, you dont need a video of the entire battle for it, and for the third time, that means Android players cant participate, and players that have low spec PCs that cannot record also cant participate. A screenshot is sufficient enough. (again)

Surely this adds more to your workload than just a screenshot of the victor? Plus it voids a big chunk of the community, i dont see the point in recording to be honest...

GG Baeon, im glad you took on board feedback from the players, that (although for me and my bad RNG/ time to farm it doesnt make much difference ) this makes it a lot more balanced. Im sure everyone is happy with that amendment. #Daeon4Admin :confused: Also, for people with craptops / not good PC's that cant really hack recording equipment or who wish to play from Android if they have no PC, it isnt fair to ask they make sure their game is recorded. Just a screenshot of the result is enough, they dont need to record the whole battle and its almost certain that you staffers wont review each video to its fullest, so whats the point in enforcing recording as a must Anduin?

Yeah, i agree, or the legendary birds since we already had Suicune prize. (but if its colour co-ordinated, blue wouldn't have Suicune so it would be viable). they should give mestre an entei and make an event for blue and yellow servers with the two other legendaries uhh... why give Mestre an Entei?

I fully agree with what Hideliet put here, on top of which i would also like to note the scenario this clause now places. Not everyone is going to still have Epic OT mons - thats the obvious. Meaning lots of people will now need to go re-farm them. How is that fair on the veteran players who gave so much to the game and already built a pvp team(s) of epic mons not necessarily OT, and also the new players, that have IRL commitments limiting their time to even enjoy PRO, compared to the players that "no-life" the game and can play 10+ hours per day re-farming pokes, and lets not even mention botters because this OT clause gives them an insane advantage leading up to the event. I also feel that a lot of red server players feel like they got the short end of the stick, getting Mesprit as their given reward pokemon, yet the "reasoning" why thats 'acceptable' is because (and i quote) "Red server already had a tournament"... Although it makes sense using the lake guardians and desegnating their colour to a server as a reward, Mesprit is pretty much useless, Uxie and Azelf are usable, Mesprit is not so much, i just feel that using this as a reason as to why Red should 'just accept' Mesprit is a little poor, just my honest opinion. One last note, is players with insanely bad RNG (i speak as one of them, i havent had a single wild shiny pokemon and 90% of my wild catches are sync fails.... that is when i finally find the pokemon i was hunting), are going to flop in this tournament, given they cant build a good team of OT pokes due to poor luck. A normal style tournament levels out the playing field in my honest opinion, the OT clause adds too many barriers to too many audiences and benefits the wrong audiences - as Hideliet pointed out with his Olympian comparison. I dont feel its fair for when there is finally a new tournament for players to participate in, its so limiting to people that have general bad RNG, cannot commit a lot of time to PRO daily/weekly, older players that sold their OT mons and bought better pokemon for Ranked PvP... i just feel there was a possible oversight in a lot of areas when arranging this tournament... My final words on a lighter note is thankyou for at least arranging a tournament, im glad the community has been given something at least and has finally been given another tournament to take part in, and although Red seem to have taken a hit with the reward, i do like the idea of colour co-ordination to the server for the reward (although technically speaking, Mesprit is pink;) ). I hope we see more stuff like this in the forseeable future, and make them more frequent. The idea is much appreciated, and good luck to all who take part.

Yeah, this is basically why the timer was implemented - to help prevent boosting.

An ingame spectator system would indeed be an amazing addition and really fuel non-ranked (guild vs guild / friend battles / guild tournaments) (and ranked) PvP. However an alternative would be as Gambilicious stated, streaming on Twitch, which would be the only feasible alternative for now, and likely the foreseeable future.

Staff have the tools available to prove if its a botter or just a player that doesnt want to respond to a pm. I get tonnes of pm's whenever im ingame about my Shiny Ho-oh, i dont respond to all, and while im farming, so that basically means im moving around farming and not replying to a pm? Am i a botter too?

Go back and re-read what i put. Just... just read it. The way it works Forum work =/= ingame work also, thats what reports are about. I was a former GM, i know full well what its like ingame where bots are concerned, so trying to tell me "i dont understand" is kind of worn off. Its more the fact you dont understand all the different duties and responsibilities staff have, and its pointless even trying to open your eyes to what they actually do besides have push notifications on "FatmanClt's reports"... Staff are busy, staff ban bots, and a lot of bots, at that. Its the easiest thing in the world to say they dont when the bot numbers far outweigh the manpower to ban them all, also, you expect just because you didnt get a response to a pm that automatically makes them a botter? You're incorrect, and if staff were to act like that, there would be hundreds of innocent players being banned through your logic, and that isnt how anyone wants PRO to function (other than yourself, of course). Try and appreciate the hard work staff have put into this game in the last year and stop complaining about every little thing you can think of, and have some perspective. If you read my post, you would have seen as MecanoJilano pointed out, "we do nothing for botters"...

1- GM work is bot hunting, Shamac is a CC with a GM tag ingame due to the massive shortage in staff numbers, he is still a CC. They are not obligated to bot hunt as a role requirement, this is an additional duty at the digression of the person themselves, should they have free time after their actual role duties. 2- There are 3 GM's currently, only two of which are able to currently enter ingame and possibly bot hunt. 3- Report center gets probably on average 2 pages (per server) of fresh reports daily, and with two GM's (chat, PVP and bot/rmt reports) and 2 Tmods (trade only reports), surely you can appreciate your reports may exceed the SLA of being answered, given the obvious lack of man power. 4- RMT reports are a pain, the wrong one of those can take a GM literally hours to fully investigate, so think one or two big RMT reports come in, thats one more staff member immobile for that day for free-hunting bots ingame - now also, a report on a bot, we go ingame and hunt that specific person and/or alts, after investigating, again takes the limelight away from freely hunting in the server. Frankly, i dont much appriciate when players call out staff for "doing nothing", for one, look at Kagawa's forum posts compared to his time since his account was made, he is one of the most active staff members i have seen in my time in PRO, especially in the report centre, and to call him along with his current set of colleagues for "doing nothing" is down right ignorant and rude. Yes, its sad to see a veteran leave, but you will see no sympathy from me regarding your departure. Also, if you must know 'facts', in my almost 9 months as GM, i banned probably over 500 bots from free hunting and probably another 200 in total from reported users under bot suspicions, you will see similar statistics throughout former GM's such as Yasham, Singham, TetraPodMelnTea, Deathwing, Sereii.... So, next time you suspect staff to be "doing nothing" i suggest you retract your seemingly malicious wording, because staff work tirelessly, always have when i was still there, and im pretty confident in saying that hasnt changed since then. On a final note, good luck in whatever you decide to do with the future.

or if what they post is trash, i've seen it plenty tbh. Its nothing new for trolls to be in any chat, its just Trade seems to get the brunt of others slating each others Pokemon.

Servers are seperate therefore you cannot transfer save data between, you will need to start afresh on red, unfortunately.
