  1. Allow me to add to the information provided by the others. Not every Protean Froakie has the chance to become Battle Bond when fully evolved. In order for it to be eligible to get that ability, the Froakie has to be caught under very specific circumstances. This is usually time and/or location restrictions, and usually announced to the players when in place. Protean Froakies caught outside of these parameters will not become Battle Bond Greninjas. These time restrictions are usually tied to a major event, world quest, or outbreak. Previously, there have been announcements on the PRO Discord or in-game on when and were these special Froakies can be caught. They're usually only obtainable for a limited time, often in a specific location, and the methodology can be varied. Sometimes, a small percentage of these Protean Froakie caught at that time can become Battle Bond, or that regular Protean is rarer, meaning most Protean caught would become Battle Bond. There have also been cases where regular Protean was turned off completely, meaning all Protean Froakie caught then would become Battle Bond. For example, it was available during this past Halloween Event, starting on October 11th. Unlike previously, it wasn't announced on Discord but in the game, with the message: This meant that Protean Froakie encountered at the location Necropolis had a chance of being Battle Bond when evolved, while Froakie in other locations (Eumi Island or Guild Island) did not have them. You could still encounter a regular Protean Froakie, which remained as Protean Greninja when evolved. This is different from the Halloween event of 2023, in which it was only available October 20th - 22nd. During that time, regular Protean was turned off, meaning every Protean Froakie encountered would become Battle Bond upon final evolution. As the others have described above, there are 2 ways of detecting if a Protean Froakie has the ability to become a Battle Bond Greninja. The method Yukemo77 describes can be helpful if you have caught multiple Protean Froakies from different times or events. I hope this make this a bit clearer
  2. Hello @Dzimmjow, Apologies for the delayed response. You should be able to encounter Wattson at the Mauville PC to start the quest, who is found down the stairs from the officer. Should you need any additional help in the future, please feel free to create a new thread. Wish you the best
  3. Hello @Rudedingo22, Apologies for the very delayed response. Is it possible you had done very well the in a previous FCC, but never collected the rewards? If this was the first interaction you had with the NPC since then, this would explain why you would first be rewarded from the previous contest before you could submit your catch from this contest.
  4. Hello @Nottanyaa, I apologize for the significantly delayed response. I am a little confused. Is the issue that the NPC gives you the cooldown time immediately after the message "He hope to see you again!", without having to interact a 2nd time?
  5. Due to lack of response, this thread is now closed. If you require any help in the future, please feel free to create a new thread.
  6. Hello @Xiatian, I just wanted to check in one last time to see if you needed any additional help with this quest. Otherwise, I plan to close this thread to help clean up General Support for active threads.
  7. No problem, glad to have helped get it figured out. As the issue has been resolved, this thread will now be closed. If you need any help again in the future, please feel free to create a new thread. Have a great day!
  8. Hello @Moshen, Im sorry to see you ran into this issue to start the quest. I suspect the issue lies with seen vs caught data. For the Heatran quest, you'll need all non-legendary caught data for Sinnoh. In the screenshot above, Professor Rowan is discussing your seen data for Sinnoh. Hence the confusion. On the bright side, I believe you're only missing Drapion for your non-legendary caught data in Sinnoh. I believe once you have the caught data for that, you should be able to proceed with the quest.
  9. Hi @Kiruhoshino, After consulting with the developers, it was determined this was not something we could do. I know this is not what you want to hear, but allow me to offer some advice. While a fire move will certainly help when leveling against the bugs in Viridian, its not required. Scratch will still work, though not as well. At level 12, your Charmander will learn Dragon Breath, a decent move that will help you level up a bit more quickly. Then, at level 16, your Charmander will learn Dragon Rage. This is an excellent move, especially early in the game. It automatically does 40hp damage to your foe, which will be 1-hit-knock-outs against most Pokémon you'll encounter through Mt. Moon. Additionally, your Charmander will learn Fire Fang at level 17 (if you do not first evolve it into Charmeleon) Once you arrive in Cerulean City, there is a NPC titled "Move Relearner" near the bridge in the norther part of the city. For $2000, he will reteach your Pokemon previously known level moves, like Ember for your Charmander. Also, once you have defeated the gym leader Brock in Pewter City, you can talk to Officer Jenny near the gym. She offers several mini quests, one of which will involve using one of your Pokémon to headbutt a tree. The trees in Pallet Town have a small chance of dropping Charmander, along with the other Kanto starters. This is a way of obtaining another Charmander in the early part of your adventure. Alternatively, if you do not wish to proceed with your story without your Charmander knowing Ember, you can login to the Silver Server, as you have yet to play on that server. This will start at the beginning, and the Charmander you pick here will have the move Ember. As you haven't done much yet on your Gold character, perhaps you would rather start anew with your Silver character. I hope you find one of these options acceptable, and I do again apologize for being unable to help you with your original request.
  10. Hello @Kiruhoshino, Im sorry to see you'd encountered such an odd issue. I believe this is because we updated to Gen9 moves, which has Charmander learn the move ember earlier than previously. I have forward this thread to the developers to see if there's anything that can be done. Once I hear back from them, I'll make sure to let you know
  11. Glad to have helped. Now that you've got it working fine, you can change the password to something safer to protect you account. As the matter is now resolved, I'll close this thread. If you need anything else in the future, please feel free to create a new thread. Enjoy the game!
  12. Perhaps there is an issue with the password, like using a special character? I would recommend resetting the password to something relatively simple (do not share it) and see if you're then able to login. Make sure its not a password saved with your password manager. Once we can get you logging in properly, you can then changed your password to something safer.
  13. Hello @Gameenjoyer, Sorry to see you're having problems logging in. Double check that your username and password are correct. Also, see if you can login to the PRO Dashboard - if so, you can change your password or email here if needed. Please let me know if any of that works for you.
  14. Due to no response, I will close this thread and mark as resolved. Should you have any questions in the future, please feel free to create a new thread.
