- Individual PvP Performance Metrics
Hey, I'm not sure this has been suggested before, or simply not viable but I'd like to suggest an idea. The goal of this system is to provide players with deep, actionable statistical insights into their competitive performance, moving beyond the standard overall win rate. By tracking granular data over a season (e.g., 50+ games), players can identify specific strengths, diagnose weaknesses, and track improvement effectively. 1. Pokemon Win Rate This metric is a personalized version of season usage rates normally posted in Top 25 chat. It allows a player to see how impactful each Pokemon is when that individual player uses them. Metric: Displays the win rate, usage rate, and total games played for every roster member used by the player during the season. Actionable Insight: Helps the player determine which Pokemon are consistently effective in their team compositions and which Pokemon might be underperforming or poorly coordinated with the rest of their squad. 2. Rivalry Matchup Data I thought about this idea because I faced like a same person 5-6 times in a day if I do 20-30 game straight. Thay way I can look back at his team and see what could possibly make me lose to him and the solution. This seems like a perfect feature just for PRO as the PVP players pools are yet small or big but ideal for this data. Metric: A record of the player's opponents in the current and previous ranked season, detailing the head-to-head win/loss record against each one. Actionable Insight: Allows the player to review their opponent's past team compositions and playstyles following a loss, enabling specific anti-strategies and adjustments for future encounters with that particular rival. This is especially valuable in a close-knit competitive player base. 3. Temporal Rating Analysis While a rating chart exists in Reborn Bot, this iteration adds valuable time-based context. Metric: A filterable line chart showing rating fluctuations. Filters should include: Date Range: Specific weeks or months. Session Duration: Gains/losses during specific play sessions (e.g., "Saturday morning 9 AM - 12 PM"). Actionable Insight: Helps players identify behavioral patterns, such as the time of day or duration of play during which they consistently gain or lose rating (e.g., "I lose rating after playing 5 games straight," or "I perform best on Friday nights"). There could be more, but that's what I could think of for now. This stems from many of online game I've experienced before, whether it is FPS, RPGs, MMO or MOBA there's always a data tracking system that shows players related statics. It might seem a bit overwhelming but for those who want to improve their skills, playstyle or performance... More than happy if other player can continue this post if they think of more ideas!- Transylvania Forest (Re-OPENED 2nd July) 🌟
