i think catching is still the better solution, that sacrifying thing is already a thing in another mmo and isnt that popular as well.

i would, unfortunally i havent the game figured out myself yet as i just tested it and waiting for release. im pretty sure more and more guides will pop up as soon the game releases :)

pretty sure id quit as well, the no breeding aspect got my main interest in this game as it was the time i had most fun in my previous mmo before they implemented breeding,

Catching > breeding, glad that it doesnt get implemented here besides that all your arguments are pretty much not valid. it doesnt slow down battling at all cause noone will have 6x31 pokemon. if u fight with 6x20 vs 6x20 or 6x31 vs 6x31 , the outcome is the same. u arguing like u will be the only one who cant get access to 6x31 pokes , but that isnt the case. u dont need 6x31 comp pokemon, but i guess thats just the spoiled generation of other pokemon mmos.

Works just like Ventrilo, Mumble, etc. It's similar to IRC, except you have to port forward and set up your own server, or have a paid server which can house more people (like a Minecraft server). The problem is, it's difficult to moderate such an environment, and it likely won't last long. well other pokemon mmos i played had a decent Teamspeak community, i think its just a problem here atm cause of the small playerbase atm

Atm we often get updates without knowing what actually happened, i can understand that for testing phase when updates happen in short timeframes and server is restarting several times a day. Will we get after release detailed changelogs tho , as i expect the server not to go down that frequently? Think its important for the community to keep track :)

meh the workload is much higher when u make a video, while u can reach the same qualitiy in a guide with text + screenshots, also there are ppl who suck at making videos (like me)

title pretty much explains it all, think guides are pretty important in a custom game where much stuff is different from original games. edit: to clarify - i want a section where players can post guide content - i dont expect the staff to do them :D

agreed, ppl have to try it out. i had play that style in another mmo as well before breeding was implemented there and must say that catching pokes was soooo fun, it also really supports trading and with this interaction between players. u will learn how amazing it is to catch a nice comp poke instead of just popping it out via breeding

i love the mounts - really gives an unique pokemon experience. additional mounts that come straight to my mind are rapidash, legendary dogs and tauros.
