  1. 1/32 of 31 iv since 0 is also a possibility. and thats 1/100 x 1/32 x 9/32(att) x 1/2 x encounter % which we all know is below 1% but lets say 1% for arguments sake (also ignoring catch/run rate) you get the answer of 4.39453125e-7 or 0.0000000439453125e which in a fraction is a 1/439,453,125 of finding a jolly marvel scale x/23-31/x/x/x/31 dratini assuming 1% encounter rate, 1% hidden ability rate, 100% catch rate, and ignoring ALL other iv's which actually matter because thats what makes dnite so bulky. and ofc this problem is not just for dnite.

  4. ok so please read this before you comment. in the spoiler there is a list of things im suggesting be made public. reasoning for this is: ~bug testing "how do we the player base know if it is bugged or not? is this pokemon supposed to be in X area? is something supposed to be implemented or no? is this game breaking flaw intended? do staff even know?" ~delaying the inevitable "players can figure out most or all of this out anyway over time and create guides. are you going to re program the game after every guide" ~difficulty due to ignorance is a bad mechanic. a system that is only difficult if you do not understand it, is a bad system. someone will figure the system out and then everyone will. some players will share this info with everyone putting everyone on equal footing. some will only share with a few giving them a edge over everyone else. ~ is pokemon still hard after you read the guides and walkthroughs? if the answer is yes then the information is not breaking the game. if the answer is no then the game is too easy and needs to be fixed. ~equal footing. if everyone knows the same information then no one has a edge over anyone else. this is a competitive game not single player. continued reading https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2010/09/28/mechanic-spoilers-beyond-i-am-your-father/ https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2014/10/27/game-mechanic-spoilers/ the list yes i know there is a wiki but this info is not there and it's better on the forums AND the wiki. and yea i know it's a lot of work, but it's work that does not require programmers. discus
  5. preferably optional and with a chess style clock that gave you X amount of time which would stop counting after you choose your move, and give you a extra 10 seconds or so every turn.

  8. idea is something like "options>main menu>contact staff" where you then get a pop up that you can write a title and breif summary of why you need help. things like player reports, in game glitches, ect... things that normally would end up on the forums eventually, but we all know not everyone uses the forums and sometimes you need ingame help. these reports would be veiwable by staff only and they could go through them and act accordingly. this is not "i dont know how to beat X pls halp" but a in game way to contact staff. yes players can pm individual members of staff or go to global chat, but staff can not read every single message on global 24/7 and not everyone knows the name of every member of staff, and not every member of staff is online 24/7.
  9. this is also very helpful when you loose count of how many turns weather/screens have been up or other multi turn attacks.
  10. so this game is in alpha and still has bugs. sometimes these bugs get you stuck somewhere you cant get out. sometimes the lag gets so bad you at sitting at a door for 10 minutes trying to leave. now you COULD pm a member of staff, but if none are online, or you dont know who is staff or that they can help you you are in trouble. so /stuck or /unstuck command. you type it into chat and get teleported to last pc you visited. worried about it being abused by players? add a timer (dont move for X seconds and you will be teleported). it's rather simple and means less effort for staff.
  11. there are currently 8 people stuck in the vermilion basement. you can go down the stairs, but not up them. there are 775/850 people logged onto the server. im unsure if this is a lag issues or mapping issues, or something else entirely. just thought you guys should know.
  12. how it is: when you loose a battle with a npc, or dc you loose yen how it should be: when you loose a battle with a npc or DC you should not looose yen. the reasoning for this is economic. the more yen you have the bigger the loss. this makes yen a poor investment as a shitty internet provider or bad rng can make you loose a lot of money. it encourages player to use items or pokemon as currency instead of yen as they can not be lost. this creates a market where everything is traded for goods instead of cash and where valuables are hard to break up into smaller currency's. you cant very well buy a tm you need with a shiny, so you have to convert the higher value currency into a a large amount of smaller value currency to buy the item. these extra steps make it much more difficult to trade between players and convert currency's. when you need to convert a currency you first have to find someone with that currency that wants what you have. then agree on a price, which you will likely loose a % of the value as the 3rd party wants to make a profit, and you are the person who needs to make a deal. if you need to go through multiple levels of currency it takes even longer and you loose a higher % of the total value to middle men. this creates a depression and a market where high value things are traded, but low or middle value things are rarely traded and often in bulk. the obvs answer is to promote yen as a currency. only way to do that is remove the penalty.

  17. in a market with unlimited supply, the value of a object=the time and difficulty to obtain it. once you beat the game what is the most effective way to gain currency? how much can you find in one hour? what is the shiny rate? what is the highest encounter rate for each Pokemon? how much time invested does it take get a 50%+ chance to find one? how much time for a 90%? ect.. this is how to you determine rough value before past sales you can look at for reference.

  23. or you could just sub to 1hp with a rattata and endeavour/qick attack using the hyper beam turn to set up, or just curse him with a ghost then stall with protect/sub, ect...
