  1. Lets start with all the reasons I was originally hooked to PRO: Irreplaceable staff: Shane: Somebody so critical to the success of this game should not be nearly as cool as he is. Appeals to his fans on a personal level whilst maintaining a 'hobby' of this magnitude. You da bomb Pretentious: Everyone is a little happier after talking to you. Something minute in your word choice, I cannot explain xD Arnie: Humble yet hardworking. PRO will miss you, sir. Deathwing: The person you can ask "Do these jeans make me look fat?" and be 100% percent confident you're going to receive an honest answer. A forthright man who somehow still manages to spit some dank memes. Keres: Commands respect by creating a congenial atmosphere rather than an intimidating one. That's the best way I can put it--People feel more inclined to listen to moderator requests if they like you and "Keep it PG" aren't the only things you say. You get this and I like you for that :) Chappy: A fusion of all of Shane, Arnie and Deathwing's best traits. Storyline: -is consistent with handheld games and also has several fan-made twists that make it a little more exciting. -Fabricated storylines for legendaries are on point. -Maps recreated from anime series which were not present in handhelds -Nice blend of all Pokemon generations in areas HM/TM Items: -A clever twist that simultaneously improves revenue and quality of life [glow=red]And my complaints:[/glow] The reason GameFreak/Nintendo hasn't created a true MMO of their own is because there is an inherent lack of longevity in Pokemon. You do the story and/or collect all the pokemon and you're done. And if you don't think so you're probably going to be bored anyway. PRO has made an admirable attempt to prolong a game with such limitations; a quality game, nonetheless extending the life of a game with an expire date is doomed to fail. I believe to have a future PRO must think outside the box instead of restricting itself to the mechanics set by GameFreak/Nintendo. Yet, efforts are made on the contrary... to stay true to the handheld games. To decrease turnover rate PRO is forced to stall its players out. The consequences of which yield a far less entertaining game. Fly disabled, forced trainer rebattles, no bikes in caves, anything to make traveling from point A to B either tedious or costly. Pokemon once common in the handheld games are set to extremely rare, placed in pay-to-enter areas, restricted by time of day, etc. Thereby extending the time required to complete the game. Gold sinks taken beyond their means, to overcompensate for the staff limitations to detect automation software and the resulting inflation. I know their limitations because after I got an account banned for botting when I wasn't, I decided to give it an actually whirl (lol). With very very basic programming knowledge I was able to ultimately create a bot which ran 4-6 separate clients on the same device. Without any outlandish methods to conceal automation behavior, these accounts are still alive and well. The irony with this is strong. I'm no computer science mastermind but I suggest you find methods to find actual perpetrators without creating an atmosphere to rival the Salem Witch Trials. I see people banned for talking about League of Legends or Donald Trump, while the dude that's been pacing up and down for 6 days straight isn't found unless the community reports him. And on to my next topic: PvP. I would rather walk on legos than PvP in PRO. The only current fully-operational pokemon are also the most boring. To break this cycle, one must combat the skewed rarity level of tanks (meagre) vs. sweepers (rare-extremelyrare), the lack of 30-50% damage boosting items critical to their kit, or the boundless restriction of not-yet-coded abilities they require. Since the latter two points are dependent on one staff member, good luck waiting until they are fixed. There aren't tiers, and up until recently nothing was banned. So of course, more often than not everyone has the same or similar team. When there are over 700 pokemon to date and only 2-3% can be considered usable something is wrong. And cut the garbage with the 1 in 100 chance, every two weeks for a boss-only reward. Ain't nobody got time for that. The tryhards have shinies and that's enough. "PG-ONLY". I'm pretty sure I speak for >75% of the PRO population when I say this rule is a compromise you must unwillingly make. Telling people what they cannot say so that you aren't offended is naive at best. Kids nowadays have a better urbandictionary vocabulary than their parents, it's just a fact of life. Disputing this is just wasted effort. At least create a PG+ public channel the community can opt in and out of. Maybe the heightened sensitivity and censorship is a result of the ignore function not being fully functional, I can't say. The end result is a community with hypersensitivity. One step further and you'll have only vegans.
  2. There would still be a pokemon within the same rarity level so your suggestion would prove worthless
  3. Of all the things to complain about PRO PvP you choose this....
  4. Pokemon is about figuring it out yourself, reading into the story...not "kill 5 pikachus and 5 budews in viridian forest and report back to brock"
  5. How would that ever be an anti afk mechanism? Put a paperweight on your arrow key (essentially doing what this feature would), i guarantee you'll still be kicked after 7 minutes + ~20 seconds.
  6. Nothing is wrong with these abilities. It's the handicapped game. So many pokemon are rendered unusable because they don't have items/moves, and teams that have only partial components working have to scrapped altogether. What you're asking for is a broken game to break itself more. lol It's like fighting against plated armor before the invention of the english longbow.
  7. "algum br?" Everytime somebody says this, I can feel Trump get another brick for his wall.
  8. From my experience it goes to the account's last active IP
  9. This feature makes sense if you don't think about it. Although theres likes two instances where you need rock smash--archeological sites and here, and one is disabled :Ambivalent:
  10. I've tried scrolling, ctrl + scrolling, doubleclick, rightclick, every hotkey i have enabled. How toggle it on the world map?
  11. Also be aware there's no means of "mousing over" in android. Unless you have memorized them all (haaaa nerddddd!)
  12. go here : Windy's PC suggestion compilation
  13. [glow=red]All chat is noob bait[/glow] "All" implies everything. But this isn't the case. No trades allowed and English only. For the people that don't know this, it's counterintuitive. And for the people that have been here a while, well... it's really annoying being involuntary mods. "Trades go in trade chat"; "English only". Basically have this on copy paste. I suggest rename it to: a) English b) General c) Off-topic d) Unhelpful ...
  14. This would be a nice luxury and with little drawback if it were restricted to within your guild. That said, it's not very hard to establish your own method to do the same thing.
  15. This is already a feature in Pokemon GO. Except you get your phone and kidney stolen too
