Someones been playing GTA5 a bit ;) I like the daily objective idea, however with the way NPCs are added this would be a near impossibility.

Welcome to PRO :) Guild functionality will most likwly be added soon. It will definitely be in before the games release. This is a community oriented game so we want to give players things to help with that :). Including double/2v2 battles in the future *cough**cough*

Ill give u an example of what a daily bonus item might look like You may get any value of the following (only 1 of them a day); - Up to 1500 Pokedollars - Up to 5 Pokeballs - Up to 5 of any Berry type - Up to 5 Potions - Up to 3 Great Balls - Up to 3 Super Potions - An Ultra Ball - A Hyper Potion This means that for example you 'could' get 1 pokeball, or 5. It will be random and the bonus would also be random. The best value item combination would be 3 super potions (costs 2100 pokedollars to buy), however obtaining the max item amount would be rarer than not getting the max, so u can sort of see how small the bonuses would be. I might be overthinking this haha

The thing is the daily bonus would be designed to help newer players get an item or 2 they might not afford (in the case of great balls for example) We also came up with restricting daily bonuses to 1 per IP when i pitched the tweaked idea (including possible bonus items) to the rest of the team. The bonuses would be tiny by the way. But enough to feel that u got something for free.

I like this idea. But id also want the bonus to be small common items too, not just money every day. Like for example 1 day u get 2500 pokedollars, the next day u get 5 oran berries, and the day after, 3 great balls. U see whare im coming from?

Yeah we wouldnt let people do it for free, of course :P same with the egg tutors (we want people to obtain the benefits of breeding without flooding the game with pokemon that otherwise would be hard as hell to obtain) We may even go down the route of having players trade a heart scale for use of relearners for example (just like in the handhelds) The tutors are still up in the air as to what we actually do with them, where theyre going to be located etc. however these ideas are all good ones

move tutors teach pokemon moves they couldnt otherwise learn by leveling up (for example Ursaring being taught ice punch) move relearners reteach moves that a pokemon has supposed to learned already. the problem with ur statement is that there are some pokemon who learn more than 4 moves at level 1 (persian for example), or moves that can only be taught by relearner (such as thunderfang on arcanine) saying that an MMO that gives players the ability to have more choice for movesets is subpar than u clearly have no idea about competitive battling. we will have things like move tutors and egg move teachers in the future. right now we're getting the critical things done first such as establishing a stable client/server so then we can add more advanced features in the near future

We did have a headbutt script for about a week. It showed the server down due to how it was coded and therefore removed. If we ever were to add it back, the headbutt spots would have to be in specific areas for specific trees. We cant do a pokemon gold because it requires an individual tilescript for every tree.

except for the fact that chappy used the 96x96 hole and not the 32x32 one, enabling the 'npc' to cover the hole completely. weve had this planned and done a couple of days ago...its like you can read my mind or something

I don't think you understand Clauses. Clauses do not ban things like switching, but ohko moves are not competitive. i understand clauses very well. you see my very first pokemon battle experiences were on a little game called pokemon stadium. this game had an anything goes ruleset, however in the stadium battles, there were rules like any 2 pokemon couldnt be asleep or frozen at the same time, self destructing as last pokemon instant fails. so i do understand clauses. i just think restrictions take the fun out of battling. i like to troll battle, i use pokemon and movesets that humiliate people and make them rage. if we had basic rules types coded into the game so that when you send out a battle request you could choose the rule type (poke cup, prime cup, special cup, Monotype etc) and the person recieves a notification such as 'Anbu requests to battle, max level 100, ruleset: Momotype' then that would be cool. however restricting things for everyone...sorry wont do that.

i dont like the idea of restrictions just because they could be 'gamebreaking'. PWO was just 1 big broken game, and people restricted all sorts of stuff like 'No Switching' or 'no OHKO moves' or 'no Slaking'. sorry but i like the idea of an actual free an open game for people to embrace their battle styles. Official tornaments will have sanctioned restrictions though, so at least in official capacity there will be safeguards for people who feel they are lesser skilled. Me, ill go for a troll Ursaring, and a Clefable death all every day of the week

we will hold tornaments where certain rules will be enforced, however through general PvP this wont happen. also i doubt youll see a player with a legendary for a LOOOOONNNNNGGGGG time
