Hello bhabs, Bulbasaur is along with Squirtle the best kanto starter, the grass move "Vine Whip" which bulbasaur learns at level 9 is 4x effective vs geodude and onix, so I would suggest you use this move to fight the first gym and maybe let the bulbasaur hold a sitrus or oran berry for the hp recovery. :)

Hello Teron, you have to fight a wild pokemon while the pokemon has full happiness. The happiness evolves work differently in PRO, so it doesn't evolve upon a level rather a wild battle vs a pokemon. :)

There's nothing confusing about my post if you read it carefully. It actually clarifies why Greninja doesn't get it via Tutor. Work on your reading & understanding.
