Just started watching this and its amazing, finished season 1 Its based on the japanese Liar Game and its about contestants playing games every round the loser picks someone who isnt the winner to play a 1 v 1 deathmatch with them... you need to have alliances/ betray people to win. You could have all the starter pokemon set in stone as any neutral nature with random IVs. If people wanted to use them competitively they would have to go catch wild ones like most other pokemon, and would be very low risk of multi accounts being made to get them.

Something I've always liked doing is collecting cards such as in the pokemon TCG on the gameboy. These could be dropped from wild pokemon, obtained from booster packs with random ones or prizes. Gives you something extra to aim for in the form of rare cards, card battles, card tournaments and its like a game within a game. The cards would just have a stat on each side and be used in a simple triple triad game made popular by the game in final fantasy 8. This is played out on a 3 by 3 grid. Big pokemon fan here since pokemon red. I've been impressed by how advanced all the systems are on this game and I cant wait for the release now. I like the relaxed JRPG style of everything. Played loads of pokemon MMOs but this looks like it could be the best yet! :x89:
