1. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni .
2. Yup this is what happens when the two last pokes are killed in the last turn, Idk if its everytime or not, but I encountered it myself aswell. Welcome to the club : )
3. I support gambi input, if you think top 8 is not enough, it could even been top 16 so this way its easy to do a bracket the same way it is for a top 8 .
4. Then if you are one, you will have to PvP , exactly like people who doesnt like to hunt/trade but who have to do it to grab moneys or new pokes for their pvp teams. All in all its the same for both side.
5. They're gonna have to do like the ones who like PvP but not hunt / trade.
6. At this point, if we have the IVs reroll we could maybe have something else to change the nature of the legendary by the nature we want. It would be in PvP shop aswell for a good amount of PvP coins. This way we can have the right nature and a shot with the ivs.
7. The systen would re-roll IVs all together. Basically, getting that OP legendary would be very hard because all ivs gets mixed at once. All? In that case if i have one decent legendary and only want 1iv reroll im cant do it?thats little bad I prefer the way with locks that you plan in first time, and for the problem with futher perfect legenmons, i will say with a good price, maybe one restriction that you can only reroll to a poke one time for a month maybe with that you can controll the amount of perfect pokes That guy got a point ; People who have just one rip IV but which is an more or less important one, will not take the risk to reroll everything, and so they'll not profit of that feature. People who have a full trash legendary doesnt mind to try and reroll, they've nothing to lose, but then it's not even for thoses others who only have one RIP IV. So do you rly think rerolling everything would be the fairest for everyone ? Maybe we could be able to choose 2 IVs or 3IVs out of the 6 category that we want to reroll, this way its not only one, neither the 6 so its probably fairest for everyone ?
8. Toothless Think it this way, the same way some of you dont like PvP and would be forced to PvP For IVs reroll, there's some of us who dont like to hunt or to trade but if we want money/pokemons we have to, even if we dont like / want to do it. So its fair enough that way imo.
9. Since IVs is related to battles , its a good idea to be reachable by pvp coins only and not the regular ones.
10. Good idea , as there aint that much of use from the PvP coins, and since rerolling IV concern pvpers only, so its a nice add to have the pvp coins being usefull for something PvP related !
11. Hello, All of your question can be answered by playing the game and asking for each pokes if his ability is codded or not in real time on "all chat" or "help chat" @ PRO. There's no real logic like " all pokes from #number doesnt have their hidden abilities codded , the other does " its random regarding the #dexnumber/generation. For the moves, its same, some are codded some arent, not following a generation logic. We dont have anything from gen 7 , but we have things up to gen 6 ( even if its not everything ). Regarding the abilities, its proper to each pokes, some Hidden abilities(dreamworld) are codded and some arent, and this doesnt follow the #dexnumber neither. Ik on the forum there's a list with the banned move in PvP ( wrongly codded so banned afterwards ) / or others not codded abi but not banned etc, I think u can find that full list in " pvp ladder rules " . And there aint a moveset aggregation like smogon have. I hope I could help a bit, good luck in your journey.
12. Any team is good enough for the bosses in general. As long as you play correctly , you use different type/role in your party and you play smart its easy to beat the bosses ( the same way it is to beat the NPC in a general way during the story ). Which means, if you cant deal with the bosses, the problem exclusivly come from the player and his proper skill but not the pokes used in the team. You dont need to use of a single trick for any bosses, all of them are easily beatable with any team normally built . Also, for some boss you of course can use of special team regarding the boss pokemons. Erika who only has grass type pokes as example, you defo can make a team with only fire/flyin pokes . For the other boss that doesnt have 6 type the same in their team, be sure to make something at least classic in your built . 1 spdef wall 1def wall 1 phisical sweeper 1 special sweeper And for the two last pokes, you can choose more tanks, more sweeper or a support pokemon . If all of your pokes doesnt share the same weakness / same type, you should be fine vs every bosses you meet.
13. Yeah and I would even say so usefull ! Oh wait 8D
14. Even tho i support it ( you forgot to mention Encore which pair well with sub :D ) I doubt its codable on PRO, I read a while ago that move who arent codded isnt by choice but simply because they cant code it . Substitute , encore destiny bond etc are apart of that category.
15. Lol I dont know how old you are , but if you get offended by " cry baby " and "grow up " you defo need to step down from internet and never leave your mom house, because the world outside will just be an horror movie for you xD. And you defo need to as i said " grow up " if you want one day to be able to leave your family cocoon, young cow-boy ^_^ . If you're Offended by that, its your own problem, and you never should get into debate because I can swear you there are all around the internet world people who are RLY insulting in their statement , or who will try to intimidate you with their words. ( which mean something else than grow up or cry baby ) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Well anyway, if you want to put yourself as a victim , its your right but i'll not feel sad for you . But refrain from calling it insults when it aint. Says that you are offended because you're touchy as hell if you want, its the only thing that fit it all correctly. And about thoses screenshots you make me laught. Thoses pokes even if good legendary they aint EPIC the same way staff get EPIC ones . The difference is huge, I believe you should ask kagawa/viktim or other to show you their legendary so you can see how it looks like before you try and talk senseless. for ya , found that while writting that post totally randomly . https://gyazo.com/9118f708897e920740ea640ddb442146 Should I tell that person to become an admin so he can have a nearly perfect one since now he got a trash ones ? 8D The amount of trash legendary is huge you dont seems to realize it, the people who will catch trash legendaries will either show them once only on some chat to show how rip they're , or they'll just never show them. Now the Ones that got epic will show off nearly every days, this is probably why u think that there are a lot of epic pokes around. But anyway, the two screenshots of the legendaries you drop here are good for sure , but they aint epic the same as the staff rewards. So maybe u'll find One person with an epic legendary ; but that wont prove anything . Why wont it prove anything ? for the reason I said in my last statement, simply because its totally random; Maybe you will catch an Epic Mew and a trash raikou on your game . But lets say you cant play without your slowbro in your team ( mainly due to the double type associated with water ) , so you'll never find a slot for mew unless if you remove slowbro ( since 2 psy pokes in the same team's bad ) but you cant and dont want to do that. So you'll have an epic Mew , found totally randomly which will never fit your team, while the raikou was the one u need but its trash so u wont use it too. Now same example with a random admin, who has the exact same team as the member above, but instead he can choose what legendary poke will be epic as reward, unlike the regular member who have to deal with what he get. He'll just have to ask the raikou to be 31 everywhere + hp ice , and his team's complete. So at the end, the regular member will have an epic Mew but useless for his team, and the admin can just choose which pokes fit the best his team, and give it the IVs it need to be the stronger in PvP then. You defo cant call it " fair / even " at all. Indeed, admin deserves reward for their works, but it should NEVER affect the other members , neither be something not obtainable for the other players. Which means, you wanna give to Admin Epic legendaries pokes ? Fine, make them all huntable for every players , and only then it will be even .
16. " The Magikarp was an example as you were talking about an "1/300 chance to find the right poke". " 1/300 = people lol . 1 person on 300 persons, so idk why the hell you talk about magikarp here , when the subject is : Legendaries + extremly rare pokes. "And I already explained earlier that staffs essentially skip the luck-part needed to catch a near-perfect legendary in exchange for the time they spend on staff-work." But they still can catch thoses. If deidara back to when he was admin could find the time to rush the high top ladder on red and yellow server, u can be sure he has the time to do 6 Battles vs 6 legendaries pokemon. So no, you cant skip that part because even if they're staff they have access to the same farm possibilities as the players , and they defo have the time for it . I even met Rider / viktim couple of time in ladder who are also admin, so be sure that they've still a good amount of free time if they want to invest 1 hours to go catch every lengendary instead to PvP. " I am disagreeing with that because regular players are running around with near-perfect legendaries aswell " Source / proof ? Because I dont know where that come from, but every regular members I met in PvP with their legendaries didnt had epic ones, at least the ones I asked to show me their legendaries . So I'm hurry to read where that come from, because to me you're using of a supposition to use it as a valid argument, which show how one sided you are, and what you are able to do to have the last word, even if that requiert you to use of wrong statistic . Im pretty sure if you do that kind of statistic, more people have trash legendaries than good ones. Since its obtainable once only, it sensefull to be that way. " if a staff had to kill all of the catchable legendaries on purpose as an exchange for his staff rewards, you would still be complaining because those catchable ones are trash in most cases anyways. " That was just to tell you to compare what's comparable . Now if you ask me how things should be, I already explained my POV and how it should be to be the more fair regarding the majority. Every pokes can be classed into Tiers regarding their uses in PvP/rarity/H.A (requiered). Lets say an admin want to be reward with a pidgey : its tier 1 , common no HA requiered rarity = abundant . So pokemons from tier 1 are allowed to have a total of 186 ( 6x31 ) ivs Higher the tier is , less IVs general are allowed. So if its 186 IVS general allowed for a pidgey, it will be less for a Legendary. The admins have the right to choose where they want to spend their IVs ( in which stats ) . This way, they can be reward'd with a legendary but at least it wont be 6x31. And, the admin still have another advantage is that they can decid how they want to spend their IVs . Of course, the tier would need to be created following things like " pvp use/rarity on the map / does it requiert ha or not , but maybe more things. And, I dont talk about the already known tiers when we want to catch pokemons in the wild, I'm talking about creating different tiers used for admin reward purpose only.
17. I never insulted you, stop to try to look as a victim, I explained with real argus my POV and why you are wrong and why we are right . Its your fault if you dont know how to read fully a comment but there wasnt any insult in my statement stop to be so much a victim grow up. If you become a cry baby when someone tell u your logic is fked up , then talks arent for you.
18. " about some random dude catching a 6x28+ Magikarp and saying that's equal to a near-perfect Latios. " LOL me neither Read once again and read better , I also talks about a legendary pokes or extremly rare pokes. Since you seems to have trouble in reading a whole post completely but you prefer to read it at half : " But this 1 very lucky person on 300 , Cant decide WHICH poke will be the epic he'll catch, unlike the staff who can decide what poke will have what IVs, regarding the meta , the rarity of the poke on the map etc. " Which means, because yet you seems not able to make logic link by yourself so i'll do it for you, in the simplest way I find. Staff >> reward >> any pokemon HE WANT regular member >> farm >> any pokemon RANDOMLY Which mean, the random member in 3 years of game time if he has the chance to find a perfect pokemon, even if it might be a Jirachi , A mew, A celebi or anything, it MAY never fit his team . The staff member choose ANYTHING he want for HIS team. And also another thing you tend to forget in your "logic" , the staff still can catch the legendaries the regular way aswell, exactly like the random players does . So if the admin find randomly in his game an epic Suicune for example, do you think we would tell him he cant use it ? no , because THAT would be contradictory. You need to learn to compare what's comparable. If you want to talk about a random player who catch a random legendary with Epic IVs an all, you cant compare it with a staff reward since staff reward arent random. Now If you want to compare the random legendary with epic IVs that the random member can catch in their game with something, so you can compare it with the Random legendaries pokemons obtainable the regular way in Staff member game. The problem's you tend to forget that they admins still have this one chance to find an epic legendary by the regular way aswell. If their only way to have pokemons was by reward , If the staff werent allowed to catch pokemons in the WILD , so maybe your argument / logic could mean something revelant. But it aint the case , compare what's comparable.
19. Omg the stubborness of this guy is OVER NINE THOUSANDS.
20. Gotta love the people that doesnt have any clue about the current PvP meta / how it is runing in top ladder each months , IF and how problematic can be the staff pokes but still they try to share their opinions as if it has a value 8D. "Those pokes are just as much of an advantage as staff pokes but yet you aren't suggesting to ban them which simply is contradictory. If you are going to ban anything you have to ban both - they are the same thing regarding PVP" Man, idk what's wrong with you; if your only trip is to be against bladermagician because you like it or if your logic is fked up . Thoses things you mention are totally not the same . The staff person can decide WHICH poke will be epic when he'll choose it. The "lucky farmer" which is like 1 on 300 people ( yet your example talk about perfect ivs /31 speed, etc and it even mention a very rare poke including legendary , so I think i'm still way to naive to think its up to 1 on 300 players but whatever) . But this 1 very lucky person on 300 , Cant decide WHICH poke will be the epic he'll catch, unlike the staff who can decide what poke will have what IVs, regarding the meta , the rarity of the poke on the map etc. This one person out of the 300 players, will just have it randomly , he'll never decide which pokes have to be epic, it happens and that's all. Which means, there's even a risk that maybe that one poke as perfect as it can be , will maybe never fit his team for different reason related to type/role etc anything else than the IVs who are perfect. That will NEVER happens to a staff reward since the staff member decid himself what poke he has. Your example would've been at least better if the reward for staff was decided randomly out of a list of 30-50 pokes or more , but it aint the case they choose who ever they want in the pokedex. That bein said , your reasoning doesnt have any sense. Please now you should let the adults discuss together , and go play in your room, imma call you when the dinner will be rdy o/.
21. Agree with zinsmister here, focus sash should be obtainable in another way than the only one we have now. It seems this game try to turn the things around people who hunt / trade etc more than into people who only does PvP and nothing else ( yes we are a lot in that case ) For us who come online for the only purpose to PvP ( no dex entry , no trade, no hunt, no evs or level only PvP and nothing else ) its very complicated sometimes to get the things we need, I take me as Example, I prolly buy one pokemon every 3 months / I sell 2-3 pokes every 2 months bcuz I need a new for my team I never do anything else but PvP , and even tho I end at honorable place at the season end i'm always one of the poorest on the server which means i'm not rewarded as much as someone who will spend his time on the trade chat or hunt and have so much money and all , while spam the PvP is actually a thing aswell. So when you put thoses focus sash as something that rare, the ones who are penalized from it are always the same, the One who PvP only and does nothing else . I have the personal feeling that the staff in a general way tend to try to make the things better for everyone except the ones who PvP , we already cant sell our 500 coins jet ski which could be a very good money to do from our PvP coins, and I dont even talk about the scarf/specs etc which should've defo been obtainable in PvP only and nowhere else, so we could make more money on it, but again the staff decided to nerf our way to make money. Also Zinsmiter , I dont think the sash should be a no-comsumable item for the only reason that if you've a pokemon with softboiled , if you reach your full HP after you used it once already, you'll be able to use the sash once more I believe . But Imo something like , after every 2 wins in PvP we get a sash as reward could be way more fair, ofc it stay a consumable item that way , and since this item benefit the PvPers before anyone else, it could be nice for once to be rewarded accordingly to our time invest and with someting that us PvPer need , instead to always be the ones being scammed at the end ( exactly like thoses scarf etc who are now obtainable for anyone when it should've been obtainable in PvP only as I detailed at the up ). As for my vote, I dont think the good way to balance it , is to make it a no-consumable item, but I'll still vote " yes " since voting "no" would mean it should stay as it is, and its defo not good how things currently are around the sashes.
22. Imo That's not a receivable argue; for this topic at least, since it's about balance and if everyone have around the same weapon accessible to fight. Even if you can beat someone with rocks while he has a gun, it doesnt means it was even that you had to use rocks when he used a gun even tho u won. Also when u say " a good player can beat anyone without having good stats poke, just rellyin on his skill" ettc, dont forget that's doable for both players , the admins arent all of them beginners or totally noobs some like kagawa are imo good players on pro, so when you play someone like him you either can win/lose due to good play or be in a close game where the IVs/EVs invest will have a bigger impact in the game. So indeed, we can win by outbraining our opposent, making good anticipation etc but when the two players have the same level the game can relly on the IVs ( unless there was tons of crits but that situation isnt to take into account as its situational ) .
23. Imo the 1st idea of aventureur isnt that bad, just need some more brainstorming around it. The topic is very sensitive tho . What everyone agrees on is that staff deserves rewards for their works ( regarding the policy of this community ). About if they should use it in PvP or not, I think they should be allowed to use thoses and even ALL of thoses ( except'd the one from the banned list of course ) but they shouldnt have 31 IVs on every pokemons they want. Imo it should fit a logic regarding the tiers of the pokemons. As example if its a Tier 1 pokemon lets say a pidgey , they are allowed to have a maximum of 126 IVs that they can spread themself on their pokemon ( that is equal to 5x31 and the -nature is at 01iv ) . So indeed higher the tier is, lower the overall IVs allowed for the said pokemon gonna be. Of course the math and the example I did is random to make it easier to understand the logic i'm on, but you defo can max the IVs to 150 or anything U feel fairest in order to have something balanced , and not end with a RIP talonflame. but in my opinion this idea isnt going against the rewarded admins ( since they will still have an advantage over us all in PvP since they can decid how to spread their IVs to still have an advantage in their battle , for example if they need to outspeed a particular mon, or if they need to be able to take one hit from X mons to win the 1v1 behind etc )t and in the other side, its nothing unfair or to much epic/unbeatable for the regular members . And if one day they find one poke stronger than their rewarded one on the trade, well they're players before anything and they shouldnt become lazy to play after they reach the admin role, so it wont hurt them to spend a couple of Millions to buy a better one on the trade once in a while... Also, this is also a good way to be strategical on what pokemon you decid to ask as a reward, and not only take one of the legendary or one of the rarest pokemon of the game with 31x IVs.
24. I understand what gambi say but I dont fully agree, I can understand that a staff policy state to not reveal the accounts of the admins for obvious reasons ( at least obvs to me ) but what isnt acceptable and on what I join gambi is to have one or more members who can be granted admin with a past fully ignored by the staff themselves, due to the users being able to hide his identity to the staff or any other reason . As the staff decid to keep everything under security by not revealing the things , they at least engage themselves as the only community proctors/wall to know who they recruit in their rank, and if they miss at it, it prolly means there's a problem with the recruitment period and everything around how they does it . Now if the staff is all aware about the past of the user and still decid to grant him an admin role, its different and its their decision. Although its a risky bet and might lead in a disapointment of the community if the say member come to act bad as a new admin being. Obviously, I put aside all of my no-objective opinion about the staff of PRO and instead I generalized , If I was to take into account my personal opinion I probably would've been fully one sided which is why I understand what gambi says, and mostly why he said it.
