How would that increase the value of rare Pokemon, anyways? Why would I bother catching Dratini when I can just aswell hunt for Rattata and get the same stats? The Pokemon's type and movepool wouldn't even matter anymore, it would literally be a race of who can raise the most Rattatas. No.

Hey! As the title says, I am currently looking for a good Gengar. I am searching for a timid nature, 31 IVs in speed and spatk and decent (meaning 20+) IVs in the other stats. Depending on how good it is overall, I'm willing to pay up to 6m.

Since I haven't met either of you guys ingame yet, I'd like to make sure if you guys play on Yellow? Kiirit0 and patopelele that is.

@Jolly I should've been a little more precise I guess :p I was talking about Mew, Celebi and Jirachi specifically and wasn't sure whether Nikola (The boss you need to defeat to refight them) has the same cooldown as any other boss and whether I can refight them as often as I want. @Fox I was planning on testing their speed, they all have a speed of 74 on level 30 when they have a speed IV of 30 or higher. This means that I could bring a Pokemon with a speed of 73 and see if they outspeed it; if they don't, that means their speed is lower than 74 and from that I could conclude that their speed IV is lower than 30 or that they have a -speed nature, which would make them undesireable. That would of course mean that I defeat them and redo the whole thing until they outspeed my 73 speed Pokemon. By doing this, I can guarantee that they either have a speed IV of 30/31 or a +speed nature. For Mew and Celebi, I could bring another Pokemon with 75 speed and see if they also outspeed it, which would only be possible with a +speed nature. Since I won't sync +speed on Mew/Celebi, this allows me to see if my Sync failed in 4/25 cases (since there are 4 +speed natures out of 25 total natures).

I wanted to ask how exactly the refighting works; can I defeat and refight the legendaries infinitely often? Also, how long is the cooldown on the boss fight that resets them, is it 2 weeks as with the other bosses? Please only answer me if you know it for sure, as it isn't something that I would neccessarily want to risk :p

If you use https://www.psypokes.com/dex/hp.php to calculate the Hidden Power's strength, you get a value of 47. This is because the mentioned calculator isn't updated to Gen VI and thus doesn't assume a base power of 60. If you now use the calculator you linked to determine the damage dealt with a HP with a power of 47, you get the following results: 252+ SpA Magnezone Hidden Power Fire vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Scizor: 272-324 (80.9 - 96.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO As you can see, Magnezone can't onehit Scizor. Since your results seem to fit to the calculations I did, I assume that PRO still uses the old formula that gives HP a strength of 30-70 depending on the IVs instead of a base power of 60. It's another one of those cases where PRO isn't quite up-to-date; another example would be Mamoswine which isn't able to learn Icicle Crash (A move it can learn in the actual games since Gen V)
