Idk. Put a 10 year old boxer against a professional boxer. The professional will win because they're more skilled. Then put the same kid against the same boxer but they're wearing a disguise this time. They will lose again because the professional is more skilled. The kid could still be a pretty good boxer for their age but they don't stand more of a chance fighting against the same person twice. The point is we don't have any age divisions on here. This means that with this rule, the 10 year old boxer has a chance of being considered as good as a professional and also reaping the same rewards, which is unfair to the professional as he, well, became a professional through years of training.

Beating the same players twice with different accounts isn't skill PS: Change the poll to post to vote Changed it. To answer to your point: losing twice to the same player isn't skill either.

Hello, everyone. With this topic I want to make people voice their opinion regarding the new PVP rule: There are both positive and negative points to be made, the main argumentation being that 1. People should be compensated according to their skill: if someone is good enough of a player to bring multiple accounts to the top, he should be rewarded for it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. With only 1 account per user, there are more people who actually win something. This ensures that a high number of people enjoy participating in PVP I leave adding positive/negative points to you guys, with this I only want to capture both sides' main concerns. I personally believe that the rule should be abolished: I already posted some criticism on discord and in my opinion, the top of the ladder should consist of the best players exclusively. The argument that it's both important and fair for a plethora of people to be rewarded is flawed in that it destroys the competetive aspect of PVP: the overall skill-level required to join the top is lowered as the best players are restricted to a single account. Furthermore, the idea that more people need to be given something for their efforts raises the question of why a top 25 leaderboard is needed at all: shouldn't the pariticipation itself be rewarded when we want as many people as possible to win something? Why draw a line at 25 players? Allowing alts on the other hand makes getting into the top 25 harder, as the most skilled players will constantly be playing in order to get multiple accounts into the 25-zone; as of now, there is hardly any reason to play ranked for people already high on the ladder. Please try to keep things civilized and refrain from directly attacking others, thank you and have fun arguing!

Unballanced game after Black medallios release...
6head replied to Fabion's topic in General Game Talk
I personally believe - and I think that I'm speaking for the majority of players here - that hunting for a HA for literally tenths and tenths of hours is anything but fun, especially when you end up getting the wrong nature or awful IVs. When it comes to the value of your precious HA Pokemon, I have to tell you that first of all, we were informed that the black medallion would eventually end up in the game - you knew in advance that the devaluation would occur and could have sold your Pokemon beforehand. Furthermore, this isn't the first time a Pokemon loses a part of its value: a good example is Ferroseed, which was quite rare before Hoenn and then became huntable through the excavation sites in particular. In conclusion, I disagree with both of the points you bring up: Pokemon never are guaranteed to keep their value and for most players, there is no fun in hunting HA Pokemon without the medallion. If you actually enjoy hunting them, you can still do so without making use of the increased HA rate. Greetings -
Yes. I did it myself on Huntail.

fixed, thanks for the help just took over this post will try to fine tune it as much as i can I'd like to revise that statement. Healing Wish does not work correctly, it kills the user but doesn't heal the Pokemon that is switched in.

Hey, when you guys held that big tournament a few months ago that rewarded the legendary dogs I ended up on third place on Yellow and got my rewards from Daeon in-game (a 60day MS). I ended up not playing for a few months and when I logged back in today I found out that another GM had given me 200 coins thinking that I hadn't been rewarded yet, so I now have 200 coins that I'm not supposed to have. I just thought I'd let you know though I wouldn't mind keeping them *cough* Greetings

snap In terms of guild rewards, this is a bit harder cause there's guild members who would benefit from guild based rewards without even being involved in PvP at all - the point is to benefit those who actually PvP so this might require a little bit more thinking. But am I on the right track here? Well, it's called the guild ladder after all :p I think rewarding everyone is fine, even if there is some "deadweight" - those people usually add to the guild in other ways, otherwise there'd be no reason to keep them. But to be honest I'm not quite sure on how the reward could look either; my main point was that the current reward isn't "flashy" enough to encourage actual effort, people just sort of take it as a freebie since getting into the top 10 isn't much of an effort. I do definitely agree on the tier system though.

As already mentioned, there should be different rewards between places #25 and #1. Currently, there's no incentive to actually go any further than #25 which I feel is stale and unmotivating - I'd suggest special prices for #2-4 and #1 respectively to change that. Furthermore, I personally struggle to percieve the guild ladder as a real thing: to me, the bonus experience seems like a small goodie that is almost naturally granted to any player - not once have I looked up the leaderboard and thought to myself "We need to get a better rating", which, when you look at it from a competetive point of view, is a sad thing: the reward simply is neither great nor unique enough to cause a group effort of trying to actually reach a high placing. In order to change that, I would suggest lowering the amount of guilds eligible for rewards; having only 3 or 5 guilds earn whatever reward automatically makes it more desireable and (hopefully) causes guilds to actively aim for a high rating. To sum up: - There should be less people who get rewards; instead the rewards should be more fancy (especially for guilds) - Reward quality should vary; the best of the best in particular should be requited appropriately I appreciate the work you guys and gals (especially Daeon  ) have put into PRO's PVP so far and hope for further positive change! Also, I feel like the above sounds way too negative, but I don't know how to formulate it in a more neutral way without losing the point I'm trying to make, hope you understand. Greetings

This was actually a troll thread made in response to another thread crying about Talonflame. Also, adapting to certain Pokemon by making use of others specifically built to counter them is a part of the game; stuff like Scizor, Talonflame or Excadrill also easily cuts through whole teams not including save counters. When it comes to Clefable, stuff like Metagross, Magnezone, Gliscor, Scizor (if there is no Flamethrower) or Taunt Talonflame are easily able to face it.
