Soo the only thing i get is I can say i've beaten him? ._.

No he's there once to humiliate one with his lvl 100(?) Dragonair. I think no one was supposed to beat him with ~lvl 21 Pokemon.

I've beaten the champ in Vermilion City with confusion and leach seed and a bit of luck. I didn't get any XP, $. And he just said "HAHAHA You think you stand a chance..." I'm disappointed really, especiallly that you dont even get XP. Greedings Kaktus ~Tuturuu~
